This all very odd. Our best and most influential player and yet noone seems able to commit anything concrete to his "injury". Despite him racing around the kitchen on Insta only days before Newcastle game and almost disappearing from social media sight.

Maybe just start making stuff up. 

 

I hear he fell out with Rodgers and the stalemate is much like the situation with Cags. Rodgers reckons his knee is fine and should just play on, Madders isn't convinced.

Going off how quickly everyone gets re-injured on return so quickly. I wouldn't trust Rodgers either.

Heard he’s trying to force a move away this January to Newcastle and is refusing to play and blaming the “injury”. Hopefully it’s not true but they are offering him stupid money that we have no chance to match.

Isn't it the club/Rodgers 'blaming the injury'? In which case, they're just complicit in lying to the fans?

 

Regardless, it doesn't make sense considering one of his recent Instagram posts where he seemed quite happy whilst on his recovery?

Heard this today also. Lad at work who's mate gets the local forest/lesta Goss. I found it hard to believe but his mate normally pretty accurate on bits.

 

Just doesn't sound like him personally.

Seems weird - he played against West Ham when he knew he was at risk of aggravating an injury just ahead of the World Cup, but he is refusing to play now? Not sure I buy that one.

Well I've said before it was daft him going to Qatar with an injury when he could have gone to see a specialist then instead of waiting until January.

 

He's probably seen recent performances and decided enough is enough.

If he doesn’t go there in jan he likely will in the summer.
