Trump has Florida which to me is YUGE

I dont feel confident in biden right now lol

Long night (and possibly days) ahead it appears

Trump was always winning Florida. If he didn’t it would be over already.

Note the swing Biden achieved over Hilary. Thats the big Florida story.

If you’re able to get CNN in the U.K I’d highly recommend it. Their analysis is really digestible.

General early thoughts are that Trump is overperforming in Florida but underperforming in other places - including, crucially, Penn.

But it's still too early to really be definitive.

A lot of commentary about how influential the Latino vote in Miami Dade is turning out to be. The swing there vs Hilary is -10% for Biden at the moment. Supposedly there was a lot of local spanish media showing ads about Biden being a socialist and it’s influenced the vote.

29 electoral votes likely going to Trump because of lies. Hard to stomach that one if he wins.

I think that pretty much confirms that sizeable part of the american populations supports trump but won't openly say it. If the polls were right biden would be in a better poition right now till a bit to early to say anything though but it is much closer than it was suggested to be by the polls.

Looks like cnn is softening themselves up for a potential dem loss.

The BBC presenters are clearly expecting a Biden victory, but Trump appears to have got Florida and the current ones that they are stressing as Biden challenges - North Carolina, Texas, Ohio, Georgia - looking at the way the numbers are moving and allowing for whether the postal votes are counted first or last - all look good for Trump at present.  In Ohio and South Carolina Trump is behind but with every extra percentage point of votes counted, he is gaining ground.  In Georgia it's the other way round, in person votes counted first, but they are now into postal votes as well and Biden isn't gaining.  Texas votes appear to be trending towards Trump as well, and I believe this is because (like in the UK) the big city votes are counted first and the more rural, more conservative votes come in later.

you must take into account the BBC have an agenda, and the presenters will have been told what slant to put on their reporting.

No, I think it's just that they are so certain that Trump=Bad and AnyoneElse=Better, that they have convinced themselves that the US population as a whole, on balance, agrees.
