why do you think Trump=Bad and AnyoneElse=Better,, but Trump is winning?

Qanon did this IMO. As in more people believe that shit then expected as a result trump is doing better.

This is going to be very, very close.

Additionally, given how close it's likely going to be we're not going to get a result today and there's probably going to end up being some court challenges over postal votes.

Not good.

It's simple as this:

Trump - let's learn to live with Covid and open up. People's lives depend on normalcy returning.

Biden - Winter of Darkness, mandatory masks and more lockdowns - SAFETY UBER ALLES

Trump - Law and order, defend the police, stop the looting.

Biden - Defund the police, it's peaceful protesting not looting.

This is heavily oversimplified, and I'm assigning surrogate positions to the main candidates, but I really think these are the two critical things that the pollsters missed and the media missed. Both are areas that the 'shy Trump/tory' effect were most evident.

People can look at graphs that say that COVID is 99.9% nonlethal for those under 75 and recognize extended shut downs are a gross overreaction. They can also see storefronts and police stations torched and not call it protesting.

eh?, he looks like winning further than Shergar

All of the critical swing states bar Florida - North Carolina, Penn, Arizona, Georgia, Ohio are still in play. Provided Michigan and Wisconsin go Dem Biden only needs one of those. To say nothing of the postal ballots yet to be counted.

This is still very much early doors.

Arizona. Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin were all Trump states last time and are too early to call this time.  If he loses three of those, he'll probably lose.  I don't think there are really any more vulnerable ones unless Georgia goes.

Trump has likely won.

Im going to bed now.  This is exactly how i saw it unfolding in another Trump win. Only a miracle will save Biden if you ask me.

Goodnight folks enjoy the results.

Surely the fact that this is on a knife edge after the year we’re having shows that whatever happens, Biden doesn’t have the support he needs to govern ???

Days of messy legal arguments will simply exacerbate the fact that trump supporters will not accept a narrow loss ......

Woke up, saw the map and couldn't believe my eyes. That's stuff of nightmares.

I hope that the mali-in ballots are going to save the day.

I reckon at this we should just have a penalty shootout to decide, with Tim Howard in goal. Trump to take first in front of the Biden fans.

And that’s where the problems start as trump has set the narrative on them and the democrats haven’t corrected that ......

So, Trump wants all the ballots to be tallied in Arizona (where he's trailing) but not in Pennsylvania (where he's leading).

He has no shame.

There were always going to be problems if Biden didn't win by a landslide. The hopes for a blue Senate are also probably gone.

That with Trump's massive Covid feck-up and a tanking economy. Biden would've been utterly destroyed if it weren't for Rona. Was he really the best candidate the Dems could come up with?
