The Brendan Rodgers thread has sunk to the murky depths of page 3 following a couple of wins.

Fully expecting it to hit the top page tonight if our reserves fail to rescue this game against one of the 'so called' top 6

Worth a go. Really shows how lightweight we are up top. For me we need someone better than Nacho now Vardy is getting on a bit.

Yeah if something happened to Vardy and you had to rely on Nacho starting 10 games in the league I think he'd struggle.

He not tracked back or involved himself in the game. Sometimes you have to make something happen.

Track back, win the ball deep, then who is there to pass to?

Exactly, he should be dropping deep an showing for the ball, being hungry and knocking people about at least. He's jogging about accepting he's getting no service as opposed to busting a gut trying to affect the game.

I think we have looked quite good overall considering the team we have put out.

An absolute sitter missed there by Perez,  had to be 1-1.

This is the kind of cup that your gutted to get put out of on the night but get over it after about an hour.

This is the poor man's cup and our squad doesn't have the depth to handle more games than  we already have.

Glad we put up a good fight and on another day could have won. Positive stuff.

He's had no service at all :dunno:

Apart from Albrighton putting him 1 on 1 against Leno

And he can't trap a ball to save his life

The point is he's not even doing the former. If he done that he'd be at least dragging Arsenal out their shape and creating space for runners.

Service there and knocks a routine pass out the pitch.

The midfield, which hasn't been awful. I think he could involve himself more than he has, he will wait all year for a team with Gray and Albrighton to play a decent ball in.
