happy85 Posted 16 October 2020 Posted 16 October 2020 Matty James is heading back to Barnsley on loan. The 29-year-old is returning from injury and is set for his second loan spell at Oakwell after playing 18 games for #BFC during the 2016-17 season following his return from a knee injury Rob Tanner 1

Coaching contract possibly, but surely not a playing one?! I think BR has already speculated that Matty could make it as a decent Coach. Edited 16 October 2020 by bald reynard
FoxinNotts Posted 16 October 2020 Posted 16 October 2020 Matty James is like a stick of rock. Snap him in half and you’ll see he has ‘Foxes never quit’ written in his bone marrow! Just give him a new 5 year contract, and be done with it 4
Fox92 Posted 16 October 2020 Posted 16 October 2020 Shame it's not permanent to get him off the books but I doubt anybody would take a punt on him with his injury record. Good move for everybody involved.

UHDrive Posted 16 October 2020 Posted 16 October 2020 There was me thinking matty was looking forward to chilling out on the new physio beds in the new training ground and hanging around in the pool and sauna to ease his aches and pains.

Clever Fox Posted 17 October 2020 Posted 17 October 2020 Great credit to him that he keeps going, many would have taken the insurance money by now. I also think he will end up here as a Coach. 1

Ely fox Posted 17 October 2020 Posted 17 October 2020 What about a free transfer to Barnsley? Oh no I forgot he clearly isn’t done sucking Wages out of Leicester City 1

lcfcbluearmy Posted 17 October 2020 Posted 17 October 2020 I've always thought when fit Matty James was a really good player just a shame he seems to be made of glass
Fox92 Posted 17 October 2020 Posted 17 October 2020 2 hours ago, Ely fox said: What about a free transfer to Barnsley? Oh no I forgot he clearly isn’t done sucking Wages out of Leicester City Tbf Barnsley aren't in a financial position where they can gamble on someone who is constantly injured.
Mickyblueeyes Posted 17 October 2020 Posted 17 October 2020 I hope Matty can get a consistent run of games now he is out on loan. Should’ve had a very good premier league career but has been so unlucky with injuries. His role in the promotion season and back end of the great escape will always mean I have a soft spot for him.
