I suspect he is an elite demotivator of top players,  were it one or two it could be seen as the players form but there seems to be numerous examples of formerly quality players who have become "not good enough".

And as for his stated "bringing on youngsters" that is as clearly  BRBS as the rest of his self promotional claptrap.

So let me get this straight. Our top players fall foul and are 'not training well' so Rodgers punishes them by dropping them and plays arguably lesser quality players because they have the right attitude or some such?

 

Is there some sort of fan club or frat party going on down at Seagrave, and you have to worship at the alter to get to play. Fek me, we could have a squad of 50 and Rodgers would still refuse to play anyone other than his friends.

Can’t recall any of the players coming out and saying that we need to stick with him and he/we will turn it around. Only a matter of time before he goes.
