Absolutely nowhere near to the same extent though. Hatred towards climate protesters were leading news stories for ages and whipped up to such an extent that people were happy for the government to erode away checks and balances that hold up democracy and give the Home Secretary the power to shut down any protest they please and creating laws which led to environmental protesters getting 5 years prison time.

I’ve barely seen any genuine articles against these farmer protesters except somewhere way down in the opinions column or something.

I’m expecting some of these farmers to get 5 years prison sentences now the precedent has been set, yes?

Yeah you're right about the double standards when it comes to policing and sentencing the respective protests.

In terms of 'level of outrage' I don't know how you go about quantifying it and there's certainly been a backlash towards the farmers' protests. I don't think they're particularly popular in the UK.

I think any complaints about how the general public respond are a bit pointless as people are always going to be more sympathetic towards protesters if they are more sympathetic towards the cause.

Has there been any mention or outrage about farmers blocking roads and ambulances?

Nope... thats just for people trying to save the planet huh... as you were

I saw that video. The tractor is just pulling out of the way to let it through.

If he wanted to protest properly he should have glued the tractor to the tarmac and let the ambulance sit there.

Christ what a pitiful line of reading. Much like Tommy Robinson's clan screaming about why BLM protestors don't get any pushback but they do.

The daily Mail and Paul Marshall winning again if these comments are anything to go by

Might I ask what the point you're driving at here actually is?

Is it simply that everyone is a hypocrite? If so, fair enough, that's pretty much right.

Mince pies are elite.

Coincidentally, I clicked on this thread whilst simultaneously eating one.

If mince pies are so great...yeah...tell me this...yeah...why don't we eat them...y'know...all year round...yeah?

Same with sprouts and roast turkey, which is the most boring of meats.

Though you can counter that argument with pigs in blankets. I do try and eat those all year round though with any roast, which I don't have that often any way.

Mince pies and sprouts are both fine, why do people act like either of them are disgusting lol

Just people trying to get a reaction out of others on a football forum for their own entertainment, pathetic behaviour.
