Braga (H) - Match Thread (05/11/2020)

Decent showing. Like may of our games this season we control the game without having as much possession as last season. In some ways Brendan has turned us into an evolved version of the 15/16 team and I think it's really effective and a good system to save energy.

Could have made some more opportunities but very unlucky not to be two up at the break and Hazma is absolutely bossing it! hamza.gif

Maddison needs to stop being a bloody primadonna and start passing to balls especially to Under.

He is a midfielder acting like a striker for God sake . Bloody selfish

It was a good save dont blame him too much. He could have passed it but it isn't worth critism imo.

Decent. Not created an awful lot bar the goal and the stunning save at the end. Not bothered about them having the ball and we've pounced a couple of times and shown we've got the beating if their defence. Iheanacho excellent when he's been involved, Hamza doing well, Maddison dangerous, Under quiet but sense he could do something. Boys playing out from the back has me nervous, feel it's going to go wrong at some point.

Pretty even but we have more invention. Game not won by any means. Iheanacho playing well but Vardy would eat these for breakfast.

Need to get Nacho involved a lot more.

Hazma has been really good defensively and made some quality passes.

We need a bit more quality from our wide men, feels like it’s out wide CB’s trying to do something but have lost the ball too many times.

Solid half but we can do much better.

Under was trying to take the last corner and freekick, but Madders came over and said no. Can he please share his freekick role?

The same happened with Tielemans a few games ago. Tielemans was going to take it, then Madders came over, Tielemans looked a bit annoyed but handed the ball with a smile. Also happened with Albrighton once recently as I recall.

Rodgers should step in?

Okay... kiwiTURK

Maddison did the right thing there at the end. The pass to Under would’ve been difficult in that scenario

Decent 1st half and we are fine letting them have possession as they will tire and then we can throw Vardy and/or Barnes on in 2nd half. Nacho has been great and Maddison playing well but clearly a marked man, he does take a fair bit of stick. That save by Matheus off Maddison was world class. Should have been 2-0

Proably should have a bit of a word but I reckon he's our best taker still.

That's very harsh. No one can blame him for shooting where he did and it was a great save.
