Nice they've given us til the Monday given we play the Thursday before.

Our Palace games always seem to have something about them to be fair, so it'll probably make for a good Monday night football... as much as i'd like to believe they are being kind, it's probably more to do with it being a good fit.

It's pretty important we get at least 1 positive result vs Man City or West Ham as we are then playing last in the game weeks vs West Brom and Palace and could be out of the top 4. I know that won't mean a lot but psychologically it might add a bit more pressure to us after not dropping out all season.

Worth mentioning one of those game weeks involves West Ham playing Chelsea

Newcastle and Southampton games moved to Friday night.

City’s trip to Southampton and home game with Newcastle will both kick off at 8pm on Friday, April 30, and Friday, May 7, respectively, with both matches broadcast live on Sky Sports.

A whole season without a league game at 3pm on a Saturday.

Considering this season is a one off and they’re broadcasting all games live, and it seems the Saturday 3pm slot is given to the least attractive fixture of the gameweek, I’ll take that as a compliment.

Man Utd vs Leicester - Tuesday 11th May, 6pm (BT Sport)

Chelsea vs Leicester - Tuesday 18th May, 8.15pm (Sky Sports)

That's good for us.

Man United will see Roma and Liverpool as priority games. Reserves v us and Villa.

Man u 3 games in 5 days.

Villa away sunday 9th

Us home 11th

Pool home 13th

Surely beat villa full strength

Rest them and rotate for us

Full strength v pool

Surely we are their biggest threat for 2nd place? In that case they are more likely to rest and rotate against Villa and the Merseyside Reds, are they not?

They ain't gonna rest against us when we're their nearest competitors.

I know Liverpool is their biggest rivalry but we're the ones 4 points behind them.
