Aluko should be given a go but last time he got a red card and Ricardo at lb was a disaster as well when he tried it.

Just shows the state of the squad we have

The squad we've evolved by selling all assets and retaining all  the unwanted misfits and mistakes. This squad will get us relegated,Due to lack of ability and deluded

Mentality. If a club pays  you £80k per week,You are still a crap player, but you are now a crap player with a good agent on an inflated wage. Please stop thinking you are better than what you are.

Really don't get this hatred of Thomas. Feels like a form of bullying.

If he wasn't getting paid tens of thousands a week yoh may have a point

Man can throw a ball, ill give him that

I don't want to slag a player just for the sake of it but I've had a good look at him over many games as he plays one half right in front of where I sit and my eyes tell me that he's nowhere near good enough for a side aspiring to get promoted and play at the top level.

Out of possession he often tries to grapple the player he's trying to stop as the only means by which he might stop them getting past him. I don't expect our defenders to never make mistakes but there' usually a lot of threat down the side he's defending with opponents targeting that area as a weak spot.

In possession he's too risk averse to be much of an attacking threat with his passes often going backwards when there are options ahead of him. At best he's mid championship level in my opinion - not necessarily his fault but that's his ceiling on what I've seen. If that fits our aspirations for the next 4 years then fine.

Don't get the personal abuse as I'm only going on him as a footballer but something dodgy was going on when he was consistently getting our top player ratings of 8s and 9s on the BBC sports app match reports after putting in distinctly average performances. He must have had multiple accounts in his own right or a lot of family and friends who were active users providing those match ratings.

He can throw it flat at head height to the first defender.  His throws is the equivalent of an Ayew set piece, you know what will happen and nothing ever comes from it.

All our play is negative and slow.  No one can ever take a quick throw in, we wait and then just give it away or it gets sent all the way back for nothing.

Ricardo and Thomas play exactly the same, both boring and not very good but Ricardo is due to age and injuries.

Absolutely no bullying. He’s one of many of the squad who get criticised for being part of a team that got relegated and are now becoming the laughing stock of The Championship. He’s probably a good lad off the pitch. People just comment on his performances for Leicester and over the last two seasons he’s simply not been good enough. The season before that Enzo had a look and didn’t want him and he embarked on an unsuccessful loan at Boro and Sheffield Utd where he was criticised by their fans. He’s targeted by opponents every game.

The frustration with him is that although he’s been poor for us and we are struggling financially, he’s been given a wage doubling 4 year contract. That’s not his fault but amplifies fans frustration with him and especially with the club.

Is that right, that his new contract is double the wages of his old one??

Thought he was loads better tonight don’t know if this is true though

All the stats are correct compared to SofaScore, bar that the second mention of ground duels won is aerial duels, so just a typo there 😅. They rated him as a 7.1, which sounds about right for tonight's performance.

Thought he played really well tonight both defensively and backing up the winger offensively. He does a weird thing though when the ball is played wide and high up the pitch by the opposition and he steams over to intercept/close down. Sometimes it works but a few times he’ll miss it and leave loads of space behind. I’m sure he’s told to do it but seems a risky tactic!

Much more aggressive and showed fight which improved his performance somewhat, but that same aggression cost him with some naive decisions which Nelson bailed him out of on a number of occasions.

The defence is just full of people who have brain farts, not convinced he will ever be good enough but mid-table Championship is our level now so he's ok for that.

Made some awful decisions, but got away with them, he is not very good most of the time.

Boring player, he usually stinks out attacks by getting involved just to pass backwards and it’s over.  There was a point in the 2nd half where he got in a great position to cross unmarked and passes back to Skipp, he gives it back and he passes it back again.

He was more aggressive but still gets beaten way too easily too often

saying that he has zero support from Mavididi who really pisses me off

Really? I thought he was our worst player to be honest. His positioning is a big problem - he keeps charging out and getting beat leaving the channel in behind him wide open

I thought he made some solid clearances tonight, was by far better than Saturday. Not perfect mind but big improvement.

He was better than his usual 4/10 performances, but he is so limited that it hurts to watch.

He often gets beaten by his winger hence his rugby tackle/shirt tug defending.

But as others have said, his lunge in and get taken out of the game is a genuine issue, we were lucky that Derby are rubbish and didn’t punish those consistent errors, it happened 2/3 times at least.
