The blame for me lies firmly at the managers feet here, how we are at this stage of the season and he still persists with him, and a system where he cannot function (the same with others) is hugely concerning.

One of the very worst players we’ve ever had, and I’ve been watching 60 years.  

I’ve never seen a player before regress quite like Luke. He was a much, much better player 5 years ago.

 

It should be a sackable offence to pick him. If Aluko doesn’t start at LB on Tuesday I’ll join the ‘Cifuentes out’ brigade.

Was at the game, I am his biggest critic but thought he played well first half. As the second half wore on he was more like the player we’ve come to loathe. His mistake for the goal was catastrophic yet so Thomas. How is it conceivable he continues to play?

Now, yes, but they both started about the same level with most of our fans not convinced to say the least and most were more than happy when we got good money for him.

The fact that this utter fraud starts almost every week and we genuinely don't have a better option sums up LCFC in 2025/2026. 

Yup. The FA Cup win and his involvement gets him a lot of good grace with some supporters but the reality is I could probably count the number genuinely stand out games on one hand - and he’s played 84 times for us. He absolutely epitomises the nosedive in standards at the club.

Bizarrely, his best games always came against Salah.

We all like being right. I called him in July 2020 (on here) after his second game. Obvs not in a nasty way, he was a kid. But it was as clear as a cloudless night he wasn't up to it. 

 

5 years later, he's still a kid, had 150+ professional games, had years of elite coaching/conditioning and inexplicably he's the same..
