Theres alot of the players not up to premiership standard ,which should be fixed next season in the championship 😂😂😂

This lot won’t finish mid table in the championship, and that’s if we kept them all! No running power and pace.

Needs a loan away from the club to develop I think. Needs to work on his defensive work. Kristiansen is superior in that department. I don’t think he was woeful, just not a great game. Praet and Kristiansen should have come in earlier to take the pressure off him. Surprised by his inclusion for this reason

He still knocked two superb balls bent round their defence that Castagne and VK can only dream about, he’s got a nice left foot. The best full backs at the club are currently injured or thanks to Rodgers not squad listed, until they are available the pair last night are the best we’ve got on current form IMO.

Would you enlighten me to which two passes these were and when as genuinely can’t recollect one let alone two?

Whilst one of the nicest balls came from a ball from Timmy that was inches away from Vardy’s toe that was bent round the corner.

Castagne was poor and the penalty was moronic but saying about Castagne dreaming of Thomas’ delivery seems very far fetched to me.

Heard that he spends too much time in snooker bars, particularly the one in Syston.

Casinos as well…. Don’t get me wrong they have to have a life and I don’t see any harm at all in him going to these places, in moderation.

He gets a lot of criticism here, but he pressed Iwobi which led to Maddison setting up Vardy for the 2nd goal

Agreed with that but he did so many basic things wrong that it’s easy to forget his minimal involvement in that goal.

That goal was down to Madders’ pass (the one time he didn’t dally on it) and Vardy rolling back the years.

Absolute horse-muck, would play VK every day and probably whip Barnes for not supporting as that whole left side is unbalanced

...Barnes has openly had disagreements with VK on the pitch, and that is not the only Fullback that Barnes has aggrieved!!!

Thomas does not appear to have pushed on since Fuchs went, and most likely not getting the benefit of a first-class Fullback in a one-to-one situation. Terry maybe be able to bring some clarity to his game, but it is not the same position that Terry himself has played.

Played well. Has looked much better since the manager who insinuated he was shit and he needed a new left back for 12 months has left

Both him and VK similar level, similar age, no real reason to sign VK. Well done Leicester.

VK, Souttat, Luke Thomas, KDH, Iversen are only players I think can see being in a decent championship side next year from what we have now. And two of them are left backs. We have better players than that but they’ll all leave asap.

Our own city lad has played his part in getting to a final, be it U21 and because everything has been so fractious about our club we've forgotten he's away in a tournament.

Good luck in the final Luke, (selected or not) we all know you're a genuine Leicester player through the ranks and congratulations mate for being part of a successful team.

If I was VK, I'd have disagreements with Barnes on the pitch too! Whether it's been Chilwell, JJ, Castagne, Thomas or VK, all have taken some stick due to lack of effort at times by Barnes. No-one expects him to be a complete defender but at times he makes absolutely no effort to cover or help his fullback out. If we were employing a system similar to when we had Simpson and Marhez that would be one thing, but we don't and if he stays, he needs to pull his finger out.

Good for him. I hope he plays tonight and is part of an England victory.

It will do his confidence wonders and I hope he could get himself a good move to another Championship club off the back of it and kick on his career.

A few of us commented in the internationals thread, but yes, more should be made of this! Well done Luke and I'm looking forward to seeing him back with us ❤️

Congrats to Luke too.

No doubt he’s a “genuine Leicester player” as he’s paid (handsomely) to do so.

We want to be back in the premier league. Is he good enough to play at that level. I think the last THREE SEASONS have proved sadly not.

News flash, we are not in the Premier League and we may not be next season or the year after or for the next decade for that matter. We have no divine right and need to earn our way back so we should focus on that before we worry about who will or won’t be good enough when we get there.

I want Luke to get a move away from us because he is treated like crap from our fans, not because I don’t think he’s good enough for us.

Thanks for the info mate.

Sadly Luke is part of the reason we are in the championship. He was atrocious most of last season and looked like a boy amongst men. People will blame other players too but SOME of them have “money in the bank” as it were as they’ve proved themselves at that level previously.

Luke has had a handful of decent games in three years. He has no particular attributes other than the fact he kicks the ball with his left foot. He gets away with so much I fear because he’s a “local lad”, and as much as I’d like him to do well there is no room for sentimentality at this level.

Part of the reason that he’s treated badly by paying fans is because he’s played so poorly when called upon.

To reiterate I am aware that we are in championship and I think we need better players than the next Joe Mattock to get us out of it.

No point in trying to reason with the likes of yourself who have clearly judged him on a spell when the team has been crap and under a failing manager. Clearly you will not give him a chance to find himself in a new environment at a lower level. Not like that’s ever worked for other players eh?

Shame you had to come on under the pretence of wishing him well on what is a big day for him and one that should be positive for him and the club to create more negativity against him though :appl:

First bit of second?

First but I hope it won’t be more than this year of course. But the point is we can’t just expect to be back this time next year.

Second bit, a large number of our supporters are vile towards any academy graduates so I wouldn’t blamed them wanting to move on.

3 years is long enough to form an opinion surely?!

I’m not here as a fan of Luke Thomas, I’m here as a fan of LCFC. Good for him if he wishes to “find himself in a new environment at a lower level”, I just wish that weren’t with us having played his part in us being relegated to the aforementioned “lower level”.
