Did you see him vs Liverpool? He is Salah kryptonite.

I'm delighted for him, He's had to take some stick from some supposedly Fans on here.

His performance against Salah again will give him great confidence for the future. He can be our left back for a few more seasons with ease.

If you follow the modern narrative for a footballer then his spell at Middlesbrough should have been more than enough to condemn him to the lower leagues for a few years.

Glad he's rewriting the way we see him a bit, still isn't a world beater but he's much more like the Thomas that was in our FA Cup winning side than the one that was getting skinned constantly because Barnes couldn't be arsed to help him the year after.

Certain sections of the fanbase, coincidentally the KPFC happy clappers, seem to forever berate any local lad who comes through our youth system as a competition winner so he obviously doesn't stand a chance with them.

But you can't fault his effort for us this season. Stands out from the rest who don't give a flying ****.

To be fair, I absolutely wouldn’t blame him if he wants to move on at the end of his contract next summer regardless of what happens next season. If he has a good year I’d actually respect the lad if he turns down a contract extension and moves elsewhere. He’s been treated like crap by our fans and had his development stuffed up by the club.

I've been one of those that's never rated him,.from day 1. Even in that debut spurs game. Couple of times in the next two years I've thought,.hang on, he's tidy. Until his nadir in that horrific Blackburn FA Cup match. He didn't look professional standard.

I mean this in a nice way though, he's been such a dull player these last few weeks. Competent, reliable, safe, dependable.

His lack of pace will always hinder him for a top level career, but I've been very pleasantly surprised by his performances recently.

Always had a soft spot for him, quite like he's not the robotic modern attacking full back every other player has to tey and be now. He's efficient at most areas of his game and I really hope he makes LB his own next season and we get to see the best of him.

Bet you have, like a lot of us who want to encourage the Leicester contingent and youth group.

Really hope he nails down that spot next season now, really inspired with the young lad.

Deserves a crack starting on the left next season. Been one of our better players in the last few weeks, even though he hasn’t done anything spectacular. Takes a lot to come from where he has been to how he has performed in the last few weeks.

I wouldn’t be looking at any full backs coming in unless we can pull of something special like that madhead Brazil u20 that was posted on a suggestions thread. Or unless several leave.

rights backs need to be Ricardo and woyo.

left backs Thomas and maybe Justin if we can’t shift him.

I get the impression he’s a quiet lad who genuinely loves the club, he’s very limited but tries to gives his best every game

Would be great for our youngest FA Cup winner to rebuild his career with us and progress as we hoped back then

watching him I really don't get why Enzo thought he couldn't play that left of the back 3 role, he's no worse than Doyle or JJ were

I was told repeatedly he was very hurt by the first relegation to the point he spent the summer telling his missus not to put holidays photos on insta because it would look bad!

I actually rate this. None of us would begrudge him a holiday, but the way in which a player like Maddison would quickly be over it, and posting all over socials that he's in Ibiza is a stark contrast.

Shame a young local lad reads the room on this stuff better than the owner. Thomas won't dare post a few holiday pictures but Top will openly crack jokes 10 minutes before a relegation. Bet Thomas thinks why the **** did I even bother.

To be honest I missed that game because I was away.

It's absolutely great to see him returning to his previous levels and long may it continue. 😊

His recent appearances haven’t changed my mind at all to be honest, he’s just been OK.

He doesn’t do anything particularly well - Will struggle next year if he’s going to be a regular. Lower Championship/League 1 standard.

Hopefully he’ll prove me wrong…and I’ll love it if he does…desperately need players stepping up next year. Just don’t think he’ll be one of them.

I thought about this loads of times, was bizarre really.

admittedly at the time I thought Enzo was correct but he’s proved myself and Enzo wrong the last few games. Seems more than capable. Maybe he’s really worked on it

I've consistently supported Thomas on here against the doubters because, in my view, his progress and confidence were shattered during, and by,  the later Rodgers years. I always thought there was still a decent player in there.  He may lack speed but he gives clever support to his winger and is solid defensively (a bit of bulking up wouldn't go amiss, though).

I'm pleased he's come through that, though, and hope he can build on that next season.

He looks like the type of lad that takes his job seriously and works hard to improve all areas of his game.  I thought he looked physically stronger in the last few games and his reading of the game has massively improved in my opinion.

Next season, I really see him being a dependable 7-8/10 every week.  Just what we need.

I thought he could of played the inverted role into midfield. Gets dominated physically too often for my liking, but he's technically sound.

Not sure of that. Loves a booze.

His heart is the right place but to really get that consistency, he's gotta go up a level in terms of professionalism. I think he's an example of how the bad parts of the squad affected him and now he's more 'alone', he's settling down a bit.
