Hes not out of contract this summer.

He is out of contract next summer, hence why we may need to look at selling him this window.

Romano reported we had a few million offered for Thomas from Hoffenheim

Yeah I remember that.

I actually wonder if the reports of Kristiansen to Everton got the wrong left back. Thomas seems like an Moyes type player.

Luke has told me that he doesn’t like being away from Leicester, He said if he was to move then he would like it to be around the midlands. He’s got a nice big house in a lovely part of Leicester and seems the last year he has knuckled down and slowed down on the partying .

I thought he could of played the inverted role into midfield. Gets dominated physically too often for my liking, but he's technically sound.

I thought this too. I'm sure he played in midfield at youth level too.

I miss his cutbacks. That always seemed to be his trademark when he first broke into the team: rather than crossing aimlessly he'd get forward and cut the ball back just in front of the box for a waiting runner.

Agree he does need to improve his strength, but he is much better in the air than people realise I think.

Cracking performance according to the BBC match ratings as well.

Although tbf Goldings cameo (3min50s waiting to come on, 10s on the pitch) was rated better than goal scorer Ayew so it may not be a Tier1 source!

The turn around for this lad has been brilliant. hoping we keep him next year

I'd be quite content if he's first choice LB next season. Didn't think I'd be saying that a few weeks ago, fair play to him.

Had a real fire in him today, mouthing off at the ref and sticking his boot in. This is the aggression and physicality he needs. He'll be great in the Championship.

Yep, loved that he stood up today to them (Justin as well surprisingly). Took a Leicester lad to get what it means

And a Brighton loanee lol

I’ve given him an awful lot of stick last few years. Good for him for remembering how to be a footballer again!

I did caveat all along that he was horrifically mismanaged by the club. Never had a minute of u21 football or loans and thrown straight into the first team.

Hope he goes on to have a solid career whether with us or somewhere else.

He’s definitely bulked up a bit and seems more confident and aggressive, good to see. His recent resurgence is a big plus going into next season. Quite the turnaround and fair play to the lad.

I know it’s scraping the barrel stuff but it’s so nice to see a player actually getting stuck in and showing some fight.

Shows how bad it’s been that I’m celebrating this.
