Myself, I retired then started working with the Air Ambulance charity and I have built an Airfix model plane for the first time in 50 years. Another one is waiting.

Also been on many walks with my wife and had some good talks with her.

Spent too many hours on FT.

Thought about bowls but second lockdown saw to that.

Considered writing down my experiences from my job and posting them on FT.

Tried making chutney/picallilli. Failed.

Read a couple of books.

Played CoD way more than I should have.

Re-upholstered a stool for my daughter.

Booked several slots at the tip as I cleared shit out of the shed and garage.

Cancelled a holiday in Wales.

Decorated over half the house

Discovered parts of my village i never knew existed despite living here for 20 years.

Spent a lot of quality time with my sons

Working from home throughout both.

Lockdown 1.0 I really ramped up my running, got myself a good training plan and was starting to bring down my PBs and really saw a lot of benefit for my health - both mental and physical.

This time around, I've not ran at all as I've had a niggling injury, barely left the flat as a result, SAD in full effect and generally lacked any application. Its not been the best, but things are looking up at least with a new job in the new year to look forward to.

Acquired a Zoom account.

Decorated two bedrooms.

In all seriousness, kept to a strict exercise regime, baked loads, learnt to play guitar, walked the dogs, worked from home since mid March, been broken into and my car stolen. About it really.

I started going to a private gym in Syston as soon as they reopened, and have lost 2 stone since the start of September. Also managed to 2 full months dry (though not consecutively). That might have something to do with the weight loss.

in all seriousness, working a lot. A hell of a lot. Probably been busier than ever to be honest - we've had to deal/help out with a lot of safeguarding cases. Those kind of cases were expected to go up in April with lockdown coming in but not to such an extent. Increased even more around June-August and still dealing with some of those cases now. Lots of domestic abuse-esque cases as well as child safeguarding cases so ultimately it can take its toll. Maybe not at the time but later on in the aftermath. And this is on top of the busy day-to-day life of work anyway.

Can't wait for Xmas. Our work, as a thank you to everyone that's persevered and kept the company going through tough times, has given us Xmas Eve off as a reward. I'd already booked some leave from that day anyway and don't return back to work until the 6th Jan so got a good couple of weeks off then.

What do you do?

As a teacher, the last few months, and weeks especially have been so intense. Mental health, self harming, and all round chaos is off the scale. The next 3 weeks can't go quick enough!

Housing Officer. Might not seem like we would generally get involved with that kind of stuff (including lots of MH too!), but we work closely with lots of partnership agencies - Council, Support worker, social workers, school workers, family liaison workers, health visitors, police, GPs, probation officers. It becomes very intense at times.

I’d hate to let people down.

I’ve been furloughed this whole time. I started off naive about it all so just enjoyed a bit of paid downtime. Then got bored so volunteered at the food bank.

Im getting married next year and now furlough has been extended through to March I’ve taken a second job at a covid test centre. Part of me feels that I’m exploiting the system having two incomes but then the other part is like, think about how expensive weddings are and this opportunity you have been given.

outside of work based stuff, I purchased an old piano, had it fixed and have been learning to play. I’ve also enjoyed having a lot more time with God, reading my bible and enjoying a good prayer life.

I thought that i "mastered" wanking back when i was a teen but WFH during lockdown has presented me with an opportunity of the ages to craft my wanking to levels i never wet dreamed of....

In all seriousness:

-WFH since mid march

- continuing to finish my basement. I am sooo close to being done. Very proud of the job ive done (wife has helped too shes pretty  "hands on", nudge nudge, wink, wink day no more)

-enjoying more time with the kids

-not enjoying the stress side effects the above point  brings lol

-wanking has become my go to workout.
