Surrendered a lead after 60 seconds and then conceded a late winner at home. Then did us a favour by knocking us out the cup. Thanks for the 4 points! We beat loads of bottom half teams in March/April. Sunderland, Palace, Norwich, Watford, Southampton, Newcastle. Not exactly top quality teams. I never understood who the teams were that bent over for us. We beat crap teams. 1
Tanya Posted 2 March 2023 Posted 2 March 2023 Dannt Simpson, when he isnt committing domestic violence, continues to say braindead things in a bid to keep himself relevant. Never liked him. 3
Foxdiamond Posted 2 March 2023 Posted 2 March 2023 We drew at home to West Brom but both Arsenal and Spurs lost the next night. I seem to remember Drinkwater being sent off at Man U and Mahrez turned down for a penalty by the ref. Jon Moss sent Vardy off. Simpson sent off at Arsenal. Hardly a conspiracy in our favour. Spurs ill discipline at Chelsea cost them not Clattenberg.

The_77 Posted 2 March 2023 Posted 2 March 2023 Time for Harry Kane to just come out and tell Spurs fans that they’re a bunch of bottlers who were never going to win the league.
Tommy Fresh Posted 2 March 2023 Posted 2 March 2023 Seems like he's confused him not sending off Spurs players against Chelsea with something that happened in an actual match for us 1

Refs not exactly biased against them. 1
KingsX Posted 2 March 2023 Posted 2 March 2023 I think Big Nige characterized Drinkwater as "quite a complicated character"? Can equally be applied to our other Danny at the time. 1
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 2 March 2023 Posted 2 March 2023 Think Danny Simpson must have headed a few too many footballs in his career. Everything's gone a bit foggy for him.

Never liked him. I'm the opposite. I love him to bits and worry for him. The fella is desperately trying to stay relevant. He's got 3 or 4 years max as MUTV or occasional BT pundit left. He's on a road to nowhere 1

Norwich was a last minute win, Newcastle was very touch and go and most the others were very tight. Hardly any bending over going on. The only team that bent over for us was Everton and that was because they’d downed tools on Martinez and we’d already won it anyway
The People's Hero Posted 2 March 2023 Posted 2 March 2023 All these years on and still rent-free in Spurs' heads. They didn't even finish second, so I have no idea why their issue is with us? 1

LCFCJohn Posted 3 March 2023 Posted 3 March 2023 Not sure why the Saints fans are so negative about their chances. They can’t have the faintest idea how bad we are! 1
Grebfromgrebland Posted 3 March 2023 Posted 3 March 2023 Just goes to show we're laughing stock of the league with Danny Ward. How did it come to this?

Captain... Posted 3 March 2023 Posted 3 March 2023 Is Harry who emailed the guardian football weekly on here? They read out his email absolutely slamming Rodgers after the Blackburn game, pretty brutal assessment of our predicament. 1 1
