Now, it goes without saying that we are by no means guaranteed third place in the league as things stand...but...

On Friday the Premier League remaining teams will Meet to discuss a way forward - and much has been mooted of points deductions, league expulsions and so on.

It seems to me at this point that there is at least a chance that United and City do not complete this season without a points deduction. If that happens, we may well be handed the title.

My question is - how would it make you feel?

For me it would be bittersweet - the thought of winning two titles in my lifetime is quite unbelievable - but it wouldn’t feel the same as winning it properly. As much as I hate Manchester City they have been superb this season, and denying them what they deserve seems somewhat anti football it’s own right.

Having said that it feels a worthy punishment of trying to ruin our domestic game in the name of money. Get them in the bin.

would feel pretty arbitrary imo, especially if you compare it to how 2016 felt. Still, wouldn't say no if for no other reason than to laugh at the rich 6

Thinking it through - I still think we’d have some massive celebrations in the city, it would feel hollow yes but then we would still accept the trophy on the pitch and that would still be pretty special.

Thought the meeting was tomorrow?

not sure how to feel about it, definitely won’t come near to have I felt when we did win it but I guess it never will even if we win it outright ourselves

also don’t forget that should any action be taken then we could potentially win the FA cup by forfeit

Chuffed. It would be tinged with sadness and you would have to acknowledge that we weren't worthy champions. But I'd still be thrilled.

A bit like how Spurs felt in 2016?

Wouldn't be arsed.

I'm sure if that were to happen (I don't think for a second it will) we would have a laugh and a bit of a party, but it really wouldn't mean anything properly if it were because of deductions for this super league shite.

The level of cognitive dissonance Spurs fans possess to keep finding joy in that tinpot club, I'm sure they would feel differently.

First reaction is that it wouldn't feel right and wouldn't be recognised by other club's fans but it might actually be a unifying act that even fans of the so-called big 6 would support (except the majority of Man C fans of course!)

Tainted but would love it to be another 2 fingers up at the “big six”. Would be another trophy and would also win me just shy of 2 grand so I’m all for it.
