I am not trying to be clever and claim to being a no it all, but I saw past the result. I saw a really poor Forest side, and us have a low xG whilst also allowing the opposition have some decent chances. So for me, it was a blip (as in we won) because the stats told me, not much had changed. And today, back to what it really is, a poor team, with no idea how to attack or at times, no intent to attack. No confidence in one another or the manager. 1
Lesta Legend Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 Back to reality of what this is. A team that will get relegated if the board don’t act. 2

Top will see that and see no reason for change. hopefully im wrong though Exactly this. Plus he really doesn’t want to sign off the redundancy cheque either. Rodgers is here to stay and we are being relegated this season. We need to accept that.
Vlad the Fox Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 Can I cash in a forest win for a bournmouth loss and have a new manager places.
burleighfox Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 Beyond useless now, Monday is already a distant memory. Bin.
Pita Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 Rogers totally lost the plot. New manager before it’s too late to save the season
Spiritwalker Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 His negative attitude along with insisting on picking shite players like Ward and Amartey will see us relegated.
ithuriel Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 Simple really, he goes or we go down, no doubt in my mind anymore. 3
sly1 Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 Where do we go from here ,can't go on like this 😤🤬ffs
ARTY_FOX Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 (edited) Week after week. Game after game. We look good on the front foot. Score then suddenly out of nowhere decided to camp our 18 yard line every second after. It doesn't work. Anyone with eyes can see goals coming for the opposition. Brendan doubles down and makes defensive subs to carry on sitting in. The other team score. We continue to sit in. The other team score again quickly after. It's every time. It's boring. How anyone can be employed as a football manager and make the same mistake every week for coming on 2 years with 0 backlash is beyond me. Make no mistake Brendan Rodgers will absolutley ruin this club if something isn't done soon. He's setting us back 10 years. He has to go now. It's beyond comprehension that he's still here. Losing to forest was probably the disaster of the season. Because its given him time. Time we don't have. Edited 8 October 2022 by ARTY_FOX 2 1
Guest glasgowfox Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 I don't get all this about we can't afford to sack him. Surely in the bigger picture we can't afford not to sack him? Quote
Deeg67 Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 When a team vastly more talented than the opposition manages to lose - and it happens over and over - you have to start to wonder if there's a reason. Unless you're Top, of course.
foxsake Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 The temerity to say that Leicester have been punching above their weight last season. He's really dragged us down.
cropstonfox Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 He's been punching above his weight at out club!
los dedos Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 Never known a manager to sub defenders so often. I'm sure most tend to do it only for injuries or right near the end .
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 Thanks for Forest, but it's time to say goodbye. Felt bad for Maddison coming to the away end basically on his own greeted by 1100 singing Rodgers out.
whoareyaaa Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 I won't be watching or discussing us again until he is gone. 1
Weller Wing Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 I can't believe that the players are not falling out with him over his in game decisions.
somebum Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 And the wind blows once more.... Our fan base is pathetic
smudger63 Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 I've honestly lost all belief in Top getting rid of Rodgers. I think he would have done it after the Spurs game, with a 2 week break, and a reasonably kind run of fixtures for a new manager to come in too, if he was going to get rid. Shocking mismanagement from Top I'm afraid. I've seen numerous relegation seasons in my time, and this team wreaks of relegation currently. 1
