CrispinLA in Texas Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Other teams fans don't want Brendan sacked....there worried.....they may not get our top players if we get a new manager
Safestandingfox Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Dyche fits perfectly, lives locally, can sort out the defence, and consistently managed Burnley on a shoe string, he's the man for us on at least a short term contract. 1
Milo Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Stick the fvcker in a wardrobe and pop him in Leicester cathedral. We can all queue up for 30 hours to wave him off. 2
RowlattsFox Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 It's pretty clear he has no interest in staying here.

I was reading almost 30m on this forum for so long which makes sense given his contract yet the media seem convinced he will only cost £10m to get rid? If that’s the case GET RID. All the other planks he brought in will have to be paid off too plus a bundle for the new manager but it still needs doing 1
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 I'm sorry but if dyche is the one people want then I've said it before but who would have ever swapped dyche for nigel? Nigel in. 1
Heathrow fox Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Even pre Premier League days when managers were given more time and relegation wasn’t the end of the world financially.Losing 6 games on the bounce with shambolic defending would get you the sack. 1
les-tah Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Genuine Question. Can we not put him on Gardening leave and get a “Interim head coach” in an attempt to save us from relegation.
MrLuke Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 The only logical explanation I have for him being here still is that Brendan and Top are actually lovers.
Blue ROI Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Either get rid or the club will hit record low Premier League Attendance.

I would say that History was set to shine well on Puels time here because he completely overhauled us from an ageing squad that was incredibly one dimensional, into one of the most promising “young” teams in Europe. When he left the likes of Maddison, Ndidi, Tielemans, Barnes, Chilwell, Perreira were genuinely players that could be knocking on the door of many European top 6 clubs. But history is increasingly likely to look like Puel signed a load of rubbish, even though he didn’t, and they were turned to Rubbish under Rodgers. I really rated Puels time here, on the pitch it never quite came together, but the squad he built and the way he handled those horrible events was absolutely first class. 8
kingkisnorbo Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 That Percy tweet insinuates that it’s happening. Please lord. 2

Why would anyone take a short contract. Surely anyone with half a brain would ask for a longer one with a massive payoff.

Was actually impressed with his last interview he did. Basically said burnley was not good enough to take it to teams so he tried to work out how he can win games and the only way was park the bus. 1
Swarles Barkley Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Interesting interview from madders. Seemed very much rodgers in (obvs wasnt gonna say he hates the cvnt but seemed to take the responsibility) 2

ScotFox1 Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 International break.. Rodgers out. Dyche in! Simples!

No surprise really when he's engineered this to absolve himself of blame and the cosy chats with his admirers in the media. Sadly we're still paying for this tripe.
Jersey Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 The time has come to replace BR. Dyche is the man for us at this time. Decent with a tight budget and would likely instill some toughness which we’ve lacked. Give him this season and next. I think he’s the best hope we have of avoiding the drop.

If the board don’t act now they’re as culpable for where we are in the table as Rodgers. If they aren’t pulling the trigger because we literally can’t afford it, well then that rests entirely on their shoulders.
