CosbehFox Posted 4 February 2022 Posted 4 February 2022 (edited) The re-build is already on. Don't think the club were expecting the likes of Thomas and Daka to get some much game time this season. Edited 4 February 2022 by Cardiff_Fox 1
Always Next Year Posted 4 February 2022 Posted 4 February 2022 4 hours ago, Chrysalis said: Maybe we should reset his salary as well. Why all this talk from Rodgers about reaching our peak and expectations being to high, another season like this one and your gone mate if it’s to hot in the kitchen then get out. Its not about the top 3-4 clubs in the premier league where being given a football lessons by teams at the lower end of the league, perhaps it’s your style of football you need to look at and stop being mister nice guy in front of the TV cameras.
don_danbury Posted 4 February 2022 Posted 4 February 2022 When he talks about top 5 being the pinnacle is smart from him because he's covering his own back. It masks a poor season and the media and other supporters will believe it and think what an amazing achievement it was for him. I'm not downplaying the top 5 finishes but he really did come into the job to get into the top 6 and we had the squad to at least compete for that. 4
Corky Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 Not a single excuse today. His strongest team, he chose the goalkeeper, this is fully on him.
dmayne7 Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 People will say it's individual errors but it's a complete lack of organisation, desire and accountability. That comes from the manager. He just does nothing to inspire you that he can turn it around. 1
Brooksy Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 Cant be anyone defending him here. This is one of the worst halves I've seen from a Leicester side.
Guest Kopfkino Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 **** him off, give up any support of him now. The FA Cup win is remarkable in that it’s the only thing this team hasn’t bottled and that mentality is entirely on him
Vindaloo FOX Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 Really liked him last season, want him to turn this shit show around but can't see it. Time for him to go . 1
TennesseeFox Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 I tend to agree with the sentiment that we need to be realistic about our chances in a league where we just don't have the capital to chase the top top teams... but for a manager to come out and say it shows a very concerning attitude that can self-destruct clubs. If we limited ourselves the magic of 15-16 would have never happened. A certain belief needs to exist within a club to exceed expectations and overcome obstacles. Facing adversity with, "ehh we shouldn't even be here", is a toxic attitude that needs to be excised immediately. 2
VictorFox Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 Literally cannot motivate the squad what so ever
Guest ttfn Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 Don’t let the door hit you on the way out Brendan. Today is the culmination of 2 years of us going backwards, a team with no character or grit and damningly doesn’t look like it’s ever been coached. The fish rots from the head.
Hollism Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 Will be absolutely furious if he’s still employed by us this time tomorrow. I’ve wanted him out since before the United 4-2 game but I genuinely wouldn’t piss on the **** if he was on fire any more.
SubaruFox Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 I've defended him to my mates and dad all season, pin a lot of the performances on injuries etc. After the spurs game I began to seriously doubt him and this is it for me. I think it's time for him to go, he's given us everything he can.
