Get him training with Vards picking up his good habits not his Red Bull or Sherry tipples 😉I recon Brendan and the team could make him an ever better Striker than he is now?

Red herrings?...

It's been awhile since weve done the fish puns.

Shouldn't start though as the Mods will get all crabby about it.

I’m sure they’ll be herring about this Abraham rumour for a long time he may be Goldfish but you could always skate away shouting Pollocks but you may have to wait a whale whist the go to VAF !! image.png.c8755effc37c2544789b575e525d6313.png

Scores a couple then the tide turns for him and he has a goal trout, needs to get in the net more for the scale of attention he gets, all too often he looks unfocused and all out at sea

I think we are plumbing the depths now. Most don’t seem like they’d do the conger if we signed the guy.

I would be happy. He's a type of striker we dont have. (Queue jokes...)

Does he snapper up the chances?  Is he the real eel?

Another Demarai Gray. He initially explodes and then goes AWOL.

Wait until you're 50+, going AWOL can last for an hour then with no explosion.

At 60+ you go AWOL, no explosion and then you forget where you were and what you were doing 🤪

I must have missed his initial explosion...The odd great goal, but nothing sustained at all. Bit of a sulky type Zaha attitude about him too.

I think Abraham could do a very good job for us, I'd just rather get 2 non English players for the same combination of wages and fee Abraham would cost. I'll start with Edouard, add one more in one of the other positions we need to strengthen (Soumare at £18m ish) and voila, we have an instantly stronger squad.

Everyone's a risk, but TA at £40m odd and wages just seems to put a lot of eggs in one basket.

i genuinely don't remember him scoring any memorable goals apart from that one at old trafford. and mabye the one away at cardiff but only due to what happened a week before. he must've played really well for brum, because he came pretty hyped up from what i remember.  i don't think he even a single good game where he really stood out.

Whoever he ends up playing for, he needs to have a proper run in the team which is not happening at Chelsea.

His goal to game ratio for Villa & Bristol City was very good. Now at 23 I think he would be a good aquisition.

Stereotyping Abraham, what a surprise 🙄🙄🙄

I must have missed that. What was said, as I don't see anything having a go at Abraham above? Most seem happy to have him (except that his fee may be too high)

I wasn’t referring to your comment.
