I’m starting to feel like a lone voice on this one, but I’d love him

here. Not at £40m, but I honestly think that in our environment, where he will feel valued - and wirh regular game time - he really could still grow as a player. He also has the ‘devil you know’ factor, too. None of us can be sure as to how quickly Eduoard will adapt. If we’re playing two up top next season, I think we need two strikers incoming. BR has consistently ruled out playing Barnes there, and we can all

see that the cupboard is looking pretty bare on striking options.

I think he's pretty good: On his day a sharp, physical player, and a real threat, who could come through with decent coaching and game time. Would love to see him in a Leicester shirt.

This has got WHU or Spurs all over it. Possibly even Southampton.

£40 million is a huge amount at the moment. I can't see any of those spending it on one player.

Abraham is wildly overrated tbh. Will never be a top-level striker because even if he is a decent striker his all-round play is woeful. There's a reason Chelsea are getting rid when their only other striking options are pretty poor as well.

He’s cost way too much, and demand wages far too high. He’s good, but he’s not worth the amount being suggested we would be Ben Chilwelling ourselves!

I don't know how anyone can watch the game and actively want us to sign Abraham lol I just don't get it all. It'd be amazing if he ended up at Spurs hahah

I just don’t think they play to his strengths, in the right team he could easily hit some seriously big numbers.

Personally think he will end up at Spurs as mentioned already in this thread. Kane will kick up a stink and get his move and Spurs will move for Abraham.

Replacing a horse with a donkey 😂

I do wonder sometimes if we throw a few red herrings out there to throw people of the sent. Looking at our recruitment over the last few years there must be a few who keep an eye on who we’re after, maybe sometimes trying to scupper a deal and jump in themselves. This one kind of fits that in so much as he’s a player of the profile you could see us going for but ultimately he isn’t good enough for what we want.

Maybe a bit like villa signing that lad we were supposedly after when we bought Kante in.

Red herrings?...

It's been awhile since weve done the fish puns.

Shouldn't start though as the Mods will get all crabby about it.

Spurs haven't got their manager situation sorted yet so will be a few weeks behind us in terms of bids. If we want him we would be the front runner if he wanted to come here.

Sigh.

If we sign him "Abrahams" will be the new "N'Didi".

At least only one of you took it to extremes by changing your username!
