Some of their supporters, doesn't mean all their crowd...

Every Team that goes into admin, is a competitor, a Welcome rival, a Club less, therefore also a diminishing of Value in winning any title...

I stand prove that UK can offer 90+ Professional clubs...

Despite Rivalary that leans on Tribal hatred for some...I Like some others were Initiator & learnt the around rival hate of Coventry,Forest,Derby,Birmingham, any

other midlands  Waana-be rival....+ Arsenal, at the Time Never Spurs,Chelsea ( that came later). Midlands never WBA,Wolves, N.County for some Strange reason,

I Never want to See any club go into Admin or go totally OOB...In any sport, Profi or amateur.

Major or small Communities are hit, businesses indirectly ,and with job-losses ,livelyhoods, even Hobbies & pastimes People unnecessarily  suffer .

A Business in Leicester could suffer ( if you See so tribal)..

Because of a few morons or hard-tribal hate, from the so called other side, would make me the same sort of twat..

My Goldfish , neighbouring insects,& neighbours Cat, couldnt push me Anywhere near those sentiments, even if the afflicted remain twats all their lives...

And you of all people, who I thought held this forum in Balance & gives us that wisdom & sophistication that prevents us Falling into an abyss of self-delusion.

Today I lose Another hero...:(... You were my Jimmy Greaves of Forums...

There is a difference between going out of business and going into administration, the former I wouldn't wish on anyone. The latter on the other hand, I reiterate "**** em". Having been on their forums before I can assure you it wasn't a small minority bringing up our administration, it was most of them, every single time we were mentioned. Now, they can get off their high horse can't they.

I thought there'd be a promoted PL club who might have wanted him on loan.

I thought he was in your first team last season?

I do agree he's too good for the Championship.

Surprising about Reading. Didn't know they had financial issues.

Think they did what Derby did and sold their stadium to the owner iirc.

Not 100% sure, though.

They went mad chasing the promotion dream. Aside from Villa (who came bloody close to going down) every club that sold their stadium around that period has suffered.

Don't be silly, they've already worked out how to be even more mad at us over this:

Ironically the very next page on from that comment features a Forest fan consoling them and telling them going into admin isn't their fault.  Just merge the clubs already lol

Derby actually went into admin the same season but was bought subsequently within 24 hours.

It often goes over the head of many, that effectively the lack of points deduction ended up putting us in a tailspin lasting 5 years. Even with 10 points deducted, which was the going rate shortly after the ruling, we’d have been promoted

You compare that to say Southampton who went from 3 years to PL post administration. Palace took the same period as well. The points deduction proved no punishment.

So they voted for a points deduction then went into administration before the points deduction rule came in?

The whole thing for us was regrettable and I understand why people are/ were annoyed but this holier than thou approach is really grating from some.

Even a 12 pt deduction would've still seen us go up on goal difference. Go figure.

Also regrettably a fair few people got stung over the stadium but it did lead to us selling the stadium to a third party as well. Paying rent for it until King Power bought it

Our stadium was bought with a loan from Teachers so they just basically repossessed it when the club went into admin.

I was older than I'd like to admit when I realised that we hadn't actually had a loan from a group of teachers that had all chipped in some money to pay for the ground lol

Tbf it’s far more ‘above board’ than Derby flogging it to another company in relation to the club at double price !

This applies to Leeds too, who won nothing before Revie and only a league title afterwards. Yet we've put up with these clubs being called "big" despite  the fact they've both spent about the last 20 years in the second and third tiers.

86 million in loses for the last three seasons, whilst running wages at over 200% of turnover. Wow, did they think nobody would notice! Even getting promoted to the prem doesn't solve those numbers.
