Martinez likely didn't expect this formation from Denmark, even though Hjulmand used it a bit in the Nations League games. 

But both sides likely prepared for Eriksen and Hjulmand has had to pull a rabbit out of the hat. 

But this also shows how much the mental aspect means in football. One side is fired up, the other is intimidated.
