Has an official bid been submitted for him?

No but a very reliable Arsenal ITK has reported Arsenal have agreed terms with Maddison but no fee agreed.

We really don’t like our own players do we….

Thankfully our management team does and they know his worth and especially when it comes to potentially selling him to a nearest rival.

The amount of times this says this might happen but It might not makes me think that they have no clue and are guessing/making it up

No idea myself, all I know is basically all of Arsenal FT says AFCBell is a top tier source

If they have agreed terms with Maddison and he's keen to go, wouldn't that weaken our negotiating position re the fee?  I'm concerned we wouldn't be able to squeeze enough out of them to truly compensate for his loss.

Maddison was probably fit for 50% of the games last season and yet still had more assists and goals than Mount who played every minute of every game for Chelsea. Oh and he was one behind Foden who played for the dominant team in the league. Really don't get the negativity about Maddison on here.

And yet… he has made about 3 England squads in his career to date.

Foden and Mount are levels above Maddison. It’s not about negativity, he’s a perfectly decent Premier League number 10.

Foden is the most gifted English player of a very gifted generation - a regular for one of the best club sides of all time - and Mount has just won Player of the Year at the European Champions. It’s not some egregious insult to say that he’s not at the same level as these players.

He was the main source for Partey last year because he was supposedly friends with Parteys brother or something like that

I find it very strange that an account based in Palestine would be in the know about a deal involving Maddison

I realise money can talk, but don't see why Madders would want to move when he has a baby on the way, to a club in a worse state than us.

Read the tweets back far enough and it stated Arsenal have had a bid accepted for Buendia.

We know that wasn’t true, as they stumped by Villa and refused to cough up the money.

I’ve no idea why Maddison would want to join Arsenal. They’re a joke of a club.

“The Maddison camp say the expect an attempt”, that doesn’t mean it’ll be accepted. Based on how we’ve seen them do business, they’ll most likely come in with a £30m offer and get told to ***** off” by Susan Whelan.

Apparently this Arsenal ITK was the first to leak the Thomas Partey transfer

The first, second, Seventh or nineteenth time the rumour was doing the rounds though?

How can arsenal offer maddison double what he's on now, directly to the player, when he's our player? I thought a fee had to be agreed before they could theoretically approach him no?

...when you have contacts at the club or the ear of an agent, it doesn't matter where you are!!!

We need to be careful what we wish for.

We sold Maguire and they pipped is to champions league on the last day.

We sold chilwell and they pipped us to champions league on the last day.

Margins are this tight.

They both pipped us to champions league places because our form fell off a cliff both times with ten games to play.  That's nothing to do with either Maguire or Chilwell.

I'd say that it was more due to Little Wes' hamstring.
