Are we all ignoring the fact that grealish crossed it at the defender and it took a big deflection? Never heard so much hype about a player in all my life.

If he wasn't playing the chance wouldn't have happened and the goal wouldn't be scored

Southgate might have inadvertently found a good place to play Sterling. He isn't asked to run at people in this role, he isn't asked to pick a pass. He's just moving the ball on and making runs, which he can do.
