France going out is good on many levels 

 

1. Its objectively funny. 

2. It takes out one of the favourites

3. Deschamps is punished for being a football terrorist.

Actually Baggio was brilliant peno taker. He's unjustly remembered for that 1994 final miss but his convertion ratio was up there with the best of his era. Also, he dragged Italy through the whole tourament back then and scored a few quality goals. Mbappe just rolled around a lot and missed the goal every attempt. That penalty sums up his tournament
