Italy playing some neat football but no threat so far. Great goal by Shaw who has been fantastic in this tournament.

The Tielemans End has seen some belters recently.

God half. Really solid. Dangerous on the break.

I really like the way we’re set up.

I didn't think England were allowed to be managed by people who know what they're doing? :P

Not a huge Rice fan but he’s playing well tonight

Personally, I’ve loved what I’ve seen from him more and more as the tournament has progressed.

He has some engine on him too.

Hopefully the 2nd half will be better, I don't think we've played well, the Italians look very good on the ball, we'll need a 2nd goal.

Maybe wake the crowd up, its the final and were winning!!!!!!!!!!

Shaw is my player of the tournament by far.

Agreed. Pundits were giving it to Sterling pre-match but Shaw has stood out for me since the start.

This system overloaded with defensive players works when you're a goal up.  If they equalise though we're in trouble.

I think Southgate and co must have spotted a weakness in the Italian’s left flank - Trippier was playing so high early doors and was always in space, even after the goal.

But it would appear that Mancini has reacted to that now, plus maybe a little more passiveness in our play, which has seen us camped in our own half a little too much for my liking for the last 15 minutes.

I note Sterling was appearing on the right as the half wore on.

Like many Leicester fans I can’t warm to Harry Kane but he has had a cracking game tonight.

Shaw and Trippier also brilliant so far but the whole team has been incredibly composed.

Brilliant start, we look defensively sound but we need to up our attacking game in the second half as the Italians got more into the game after 20 minutes, a second goal and I think it's coming home.

Kane is a prized nob, but by god he’s a good footballer.
