Not many people can say that!

I feel as though James Maddison has a lot more to offer although at 24, he's hardly a 'kid' in footballing terms so maybe a move is what he needs to really step it up. Unless he improves drastically, he isn't getting a sniff for any more England Caps.

Personally, i hope he doesn't leave, but i don't feel he has any allegiance to this team, especially with the likes of Chilwell leaving, and i feel that a 'big name club' might just turn his head.

Chilwell’s London lifestyle plus the national publicity that goes with it, will be a massive attraction to Maddison

It’s pretty obvious he really enjoys the limelight, he’s perfect media material

So in reality you don't know it will be a massive attraction, you are guessing.

Even if that was the case, him being a soon to be father can change his outlook. If him and his GF are settled, they might decide it's best to stay at his current digs in the Midlands to bring up their child for a year or so - no idea where his GF is from but assume she's living with him now?  It's not like he's turning down the move of a lifetime by not moving to a club on the slide this summer.

Why go to a less successful club, in current terms, and one that has slipped out of the Big 6 in reality. Just be a downward step.

it is at present but there could be a number of reasons he might want to leave.

He fancies a new challange and a new environment, especially as a lot of our fans have given him a hard time.

He fancies the prestige at being at a London club.

He fancies the reported doubling of his wages.

Arsenal will always be there or thereabouts, it would only take a few decent signings and a decent run and they're back where they believe they should be.

I hope he doesn't leave, but it wouldn't surprise me if we're looking for his replacement, and if we find one he'll be gone.

Arsenal do not have 60m to burn. And if we take some of their unwanted reserves as makeweights,  I would worry about this.

I see no point in the Arsenal move. Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, or United have clear ambition, funds, investment and European football. Arsenal are so far off those 4 that any move doesn’t guarantee top 4 or trophies and rules out a move to those top 4 sides.

He’s better off waiting for one of the current ‘big’ clubs.

So would I. However, l can’t see that happening making Arsenal stronger and the Foxes weaker. No business sense in that.

To be fair, he does drive a chrome blue Lamborghini Urus.

That's like a Arsenal pre requisite.

Stop being so bloody sensible will you. 🤣

Arsenal are a shite small club. Step down for Madders. Vardy said no. Right decision.

It’s ok they’re after someone called Maddiosn. Phew!

Sky are weird. Is it a slow news day for transfers ? They're essentially discussing something that Twitter has discussed for weeks as if its new news and adding nothing new to the process.

How does this Muppet get a gig at Sky?  So Artita is 'building something' at Arsenal and BR is just passing the time away at Leicester.  Mmm...
