...who plays at #10......or do we go without one!!!

433 rather than 4231

Tielemans, Ndidi, Soumare

Praet, Mendy, KDH - if Praet stays, he might if Madders leaves

To be fair we would do well to move away from relying on one.

....I get the feeling that if it was anyone else, other than a gifted valuable player in that role, we would scrap it and find another shape which would not incorporate him!!!

We'd still need another attacking creative midfielder as an option, in certain games one would be needed.

Coutinho on loan imo.

I mean that would be outrageous but we'd be foolish to turn it down if we could do it.

If we got rid of Maddison then we'd go from 2 to 1 creative and dynamic forward players. Last year we got lucky with Tielemans being so reliable but when he nor maddison wasn't playing we looked dead beat with no flair.

It's awkward this but you are right, and the only attacking creative midfielder we've been linked with is Coutinho. So if maddison went, Berardi was bought with madders sale then we'd be looking at loaning Coutinho or someone like him. What's your opinion?

NB ignore this, I overlapped the Coutinho remarks above..

Maddison out

Sabitzer in

Do it!

Sabitzer is rumoured to be available for about £15m due to his deal being up next summer. Would love him here.

If we are struggling for finances and could tempt Arsenal to pay £60m for Maddison, Sabitzer + Madueke could be signed with change left over. This is what we do so well and it allows us to buy and max our wage structure for such talented players for a certain amount of years. It's wasier said than done but it works for us and is the best way for us to function without sorcery with FFP or a significant increase in commercial revenue year on year.

...getting Coutinho would be the example of two terraced houses side by side, one you can rent for £1k a month and the other you can buy with a mortgage of £1k a month!!!

Which one makes sense?

Well he's out of our price range to buy, as a detached rural house, so I'm going to happily rent a 3 bed luxury apartment. Voila..

How much is he worth again? 🤔. You seem to have a semi-hard on about this...

Can’t see Maddison leaving, but selling him for 60-70 million would free us up no end to strengthen in 2-3 areas.

If finances are currently tight as you say, it would free us up to get in a winger for 20-30 million, plus a top replacement for Maddison, Sabitzer for 15-20 million is an absolute steal.

Selling Maddison could actually prove to be shrewd business, and could help us long term.

If we're going to look at cashing in on Madders if a silly money offer comes in, then we'd need to be looking at replacements in the next couple of weeks + the right winger we need. The last thing we want is for this deal to be done late in the window and left scrambling around for a replacement with clubs knowing we have 70 mill to spend.

Arsenal's transfer policy is a bit of a joke and there's no way they'll raise £70m or more or provide us with a worthy exchange of players.

I could be wrong but Maddison doesn't seem bothered about the interest - He'll be looking for a move to Man U or Man City or possibly Chelsea
