We're better than arsenal c,mon why would he go :nigel:

They’d pay him more and  he’d probably enjoy London. he probably won’t stand out so much with all his garish clothing and bags

He seems not to sulk or down tools cos he hasn't got his dream move, complete opposite to Mahrez, Maguire or Chilwell. Maddison's  a character and that's what we need in our team

I'm not sure if Maddison would consider a transfer to Arsenal a dream move. He might not even want to leave.

...getting Coutinho would be the example of two terraced houses side by side, one you can rent for £1k a month and the other you can buy with a mortgage of £1k a month!!!

Which one makes sense?

Do you work for the Yorkshire Building Society?

What annoys me is that Arsenal think they can take him from us

Is this Arsenal the club, or Arsenal the absurd fanbase? If the former, do the club actually think they can 'take' (or buy perhaps) Maddison.

It's wiser to laugh at it, whatever the case. I'm afraid arrogance isn't the sole province of Arsenal or their fans.

Bad news guy. Maddison is a long term target of Maddison…

Also CONFIRMED! Pete O-Rourke talks out of his Arsenal.

There is no world in which this (a) makes sense  & (b) happens.

Unless one of the Manchester clubs, Chelsea, Juventus, PSG, Barcelona or Real Madrid come knocking this month, with many, many pound notes, Madders will stay with us for at least next season.

Source? Really?!?!

On News24/7 some gigantic Bell-end suggested that Madders was ‘benched’ last night by BR meaning this is a signal he is off to Arsenal because he did not play the whole game!!!

Along with every other player?

I agree (on all counts)! But perhaps he was trying to look good for Arsenal (or other suitors). lol

All jokes aside, they’re a joke of a club really.

I’d actually rather play for Spurs.

As a player, the laughing stock that is Arsenal fan TV (which we all laugh at), isn’t something you’d want to be associated with. I actually think it serves as a hype machine for the Arsenal fan base to wallow in the self entitlement they have as a “big club”. They’d actually be the last of the “big 6”, I’d look to join. Under Wenger they had some direction. Look what the fan base did to Wenger, hounded him with stupid #WengetOut signs.

I’m smiling at all these Arsenal fans that proclaim Maddison to be the saviour, the brand and creative force they need. They had Mesut Ozil, a pretty much like for like player and a) didn’t play him, then B) to a degree hounded him out of the club.

Yeah what a fall from grace. Their signings and links are mid table at best.

Real willing to let Odegaard go now for £43m, can't see Arsenal going for Maddison if that's true.

https://www.espn.co.uk/football/soccer-transfers/story/4441142/arsenal-may-need-50m-for-real-madrids-martin-odegaard-sources

I doubt Real will accept cash plus Arsenal's dead-wood to make up their valuation of 50m Euros.  Arsenal's fans may have fuched their Club here by encouraging Real to up the price for Odegaard following all this Bull-sh*t talk by AFC Bell-end et al about going for Madders, who is  'reportedly' valued at 60-70m by Leicester?

What I don’t understand, is that Willock had a breakout season and by all intensive purposes, was the breakout star January onwards. Yet ……. They’re on about farming him out again.

Surely they’ve not thought, “we could do with him”.

Honestly £30m and Willock would be enough for me to sell Maddison, really don’t get Arsenal as a club get some any promising youngsters atm but don’t seem to actually want them
