Haven’t seen any of the game so don’t know what happened??

Think is was Burger who challenged him and yelled something in his face. Kasey shoved him in the chest which subsequently broke Burgers back who fell to the floor in a heap of bones. Kasey got a yellow for it.

who does/did he support?

Manchester United. Maybe as he plays more with us his allegiance will switch over but on one of his loan introduction videos that's who he said he supports.

Same team as KDH. I’m certain he’ll be as committed though.

This must be the last generation of kids that attach/buy merchandise of Man United. It's all Liverpool now which will give more playground status.

He's a great player and i love watching him but outside of being from the academy he doesnt have a strong connection with the club. To be clear I would like him to stay here to the end of his career as he's an great talent but making him out to be future captain material is a bit far considering he's not a fan of the club like Thomas, Dewsbury Hall, Barnes, Choudhury etc.

Hes been with us for over 10 years so id say thats a pretty strong connection. Who he supported growing up is irrelevant. 99.9% of footballers dont play for the club they supported as a kid but doesnt mean they cant become a future captain. Scott Brown was a Rangers fan and became a Celtic legend 😂

Exactly. And not to mention loads of young kids ‘support’ the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool and now Man City. It’s always been the case. Many that aren’t professional footballers change their allegiance as they grow up and become mature. Being a professional football and coming through a clubs academy and into the first team, that can only help that connection.

Hes from Northampton anyway so would have had no reason to support Leicester. I work there and most are glory supporters as the local team is so bad

Kdh is a United fan too. It's his mothers side of the family that support leicester.

It does look like Nelson is destined to go right to the top, which is absolutely fantastic. There's been many occasions when we've got excited by an academy player aged 16/17 and it doesn't work out for them but it really does feel that it was just a matter of time for Nelson.

The pre-season of 2021 it was very clear he was a phenomenal talent but its taken 2+ years to get a chance.

I hate that we got relegated, but the fact that we were has undoubtedly given Nelson and McAteer that bit more of a chance of 1st team action. Miniscule silver linings and all that. Really excited about and for him.
