moseeds Posted 14 July 2024 Posted 14 July 2024 Daka is so frustrating. It's quite clear he has spent his entire career relying on his pace. I'm sure he's tried to get better at composure/instinct but whenever he fails in that he falls back to pace. Except the Premier League and the Championship are well known for being super-fast. I have no idea if Cooper will have the patience to persevere with Daka because his own longevity is tied closely to Daka's performance assuming he remains our only viable starting striker.
RumbleFox Posted 16 August 2024 Posted 16 August 2024 So our only strikers are an OAP Vardy and Tom “doesn’t perform in training but should be starting every game” Cannon? Yay! 1
Lincolnfox Posted 16 August 2024 Posted 16 August 2024 This is the best news I have read all close season… I am now hopeful of some movement in an area we are desperate for. Get your finger out you specky, useless git and get us the striker we deserve
Bourbon Fox Posted 16 August 2024 Posted 16 August 2024 That's his city career done. He'll be an absolute pain to offload now, too.

I am at a loss how he is even still at the club, and now this is a double down on that. The only blessing from this is it might actually make us buy a striker, but I cant help but feel it will the palace striker. 2

Come on man dont wish bad hes our best striker atm Edited 17 August 2024 by beastfootballx
Corky Posted 17 August 2024 Posted 17 August 2024 It weakens a light squad even further. And "yeah, we'll just get someone else in" has worked really well this week hasn't it? 4

Havnt a clue how to think for them selves
Lad1966 Posted 17 August 2024 Posted 17 August 2024 The thing about Daka, is that he works hard for the team, despite him lacking in confidence. I rather him playing than someones who doesn’t give a fu*k. We are obviously light in this area and with Daka out for a few months, this isnt something we should be happy about
CH1_Fox Posted 4 October 2024 Posted 4 October 2024 I’ve got no idea why, and I’ve no real logic to support this but I’m quite looking forward to having Patson back 😬 2 1
Popular Post Ric Flair Posted 4 October 2024 Popular Post Posted 4 October 2024 I think Edouard and Daka in a front two will be peak Cooper. Maybe with Ayew in the hole. 1 7

That could actually work if both have a mind to compete for the Ball and work defenders hard. Then have Vardy as back up for bringing on after 60 to 70 miutes. 1

pmcla26 Posted 4 October 2024 Posted 4 October 2024 I'm a fan of Daka and think a front 3 of him, Mavididi and Fatawu could really hurt teams on the break in the Premier League with all that pace (if Cooper dares to play all 3 at the same time).

I'm a bit of an happy clapper when it comes to giving players time . But I'll ask again, what pace ? Never see him play off the shoulder and beat the offside trap, beat an opposing player to a 50/50 etc nothing, Nada, zilch.
Jattdogg Posted 4 October 2024 Posted 4 October 2024 Hope he finds form that we have never seen and scores 20.
