Yeah, I can't remeber exactly when it happened but I think West Brom bid 3 or 4 million for Vardy and there was the usual comedy geniuses do the "I'll drive him there myself" 2

We do love to label players competition winners on here.

Can't control a ball, constantly falls over, muscled too easily off the ball, never uses his pace because he falls over. Stats, don't lye. Woeful, striker in every department. I am convinced the real Daka was kidnapped the one we now have is his identical twin brother, pub player at best. He was still bad then. A half decent goalkeeper would have saved the first goal in that hat trick anyway.

In the handful of games Daka has looked good for us - and appreciate there is not a lot. It’s when he has played in 2. Two that jump - his hattrick in Europe - Kelechi was the second striker. Brighton where we got battered, Kel again was the striker. Ayew is not a 10. And we’ve had some fabulous players in the 10 role. We are dependent on Ramsey hitting the ground running and make that spot his. I don’t think Daka can play as a lone striker. However, with Ayew, it might take a bit of the burden off him, allow him to occupy the box. Have some to take the hits. It’s the only reason I’d like to see Ayew back starting. If we are going to have a striker/goal scorer this year, it’s going to be Daka if we don’t sign anybody. Maybe adapting the formation for him wouldn’t be the worse thing. The last few games Bobby Reid has pretty much started behind him and most the time runs next to him. He works hard but he is average. My nan would beat him to a header, not as quick as he once was dubbed. He’s lucky the rest of the team around him should mean we don’t rely on his goals

Jazzy_Jeff Posted 19 October 2025 Posted 19 October 2025 Pipes on the WYS pod suggested shifting Daka wide to utilise his pace. For all his faults, workrate and pace are not two of them. Worth a go trying him from the left with the instruction to take his fullback on and push us up the pitch. Could be our very own Forrest Gump.

Why would we put a crap striker on the wing at the expense of one of them? Naff idea imo 1

I'd have him so wide that he's off the pitch, out of the ground and using his searing pace to run all the way to the train station and off to pastures new. Although he'd probably get on the wrong train or at least fall over tying to board it. 1 6

Always Next Year Posted 21 October 2025 Posted 21 October 2025 How many more chances is he going to be given involved in 50 game and fcuk all if anything to show for it, give him and the rest of the dead wood away in the next transfer window and pay the rest of the shit a performance wage.
TrentFox Posted 21 October 2025 Posted 21 October 2025 He is simply awful. I’ve run out of appropriate words to do justice to how poor he is. 1
Stuntman_Mike Posted 21 October 2025 Posted 21 October 2025 It's got the point now where he is that bad, you class a good game as him being completely forgettable, rather than just remembering him falling over his own legs.
Bptiger Posted 21 October 2025 Posted 21 October 2025 I said the same before the game , yet this manager still picks this flop , he can’t play ever again

Honestly he just does not look like he is ever going to score again. I don't dislike him but I have no respect for him. He does nothing well.
Tielemans63 Posted 21 October 2025 Posted 21 October 2025 £22m and £80k a week....for a guy with was talent than Mark de Vries.
