I've been reasonably impressed with Hasenhuttl. He managed to put some shocking results behind him and his Southampton team still eek out wins when you least expect them to.

....after we put nine pass them, you wouldn't expect the same thing would be allowed to happen again,,,the next season!!!

He got them to perform after the debacle against us but then going on to repeat the same calamitous performance just puts too big a question mark against his name.

Can't help but feel like we need a bit of a shake up. Still look so weak at times, Soumare hasn't yet shown his real dominance like we thought he would. Goes from being very pedestrian to being a strong ball player but not so sure he's at the level yet which is a bit of a surprise.

I actually think our best signing could be a top fitness coach to help with our injury situation. We've had far too many over the last few years.

A set piece coach, the geezer England had who's bizarrely now at Aberdeen.

Well based on recent seasons business in January I see no reason for concern, i'm more than confident we can strengthen our defence.

Ryan Bennett anyone?

I want Van De Beek here, I'm convinced he will turn his career around and rather than him going to Spain, Italy or Germany and being the bollocks, I would love us to be the perfect platform for him.

Always liked Max Aarons.
Far too good for Norwich imo

I'd try to get him in January (and I think we could if Ole is still there), in readiness for Tielemans departure

Probably not but there's not that many out there with Youri's quality that plays the same role, we'd probably have to adapt with Soumare playing as number 8

Good point, I agree though. He’s quality and just the type of player we would sort out. And United would probably sell.

He would be a good shout - skilful box to box who has the attacking flair but sticks his foot in    Bit like some Belgian bloke that scored for Torino today… 😂

He plays the Tielemans role better than the Maddison role in my opinion but he's a bit of a hybrid.

Think West Ham probably sign him up in January, they wanted him last year, they seem to love their hard as nails Czechs.

Hope not, he’s too good for those jellied eel freaks

Please can we just sign a big physical dirty bastard centre half that can take charge and deal with any incoming set pieces🙏 Might get everyone going!

Agree that we need to prioritise getting a CB.

Smalling on paper looks a solid signing but we seem to do better buying younger, hungrier players with a higher ceiling. There's not many bad transfers we made since that awful 2016 summer transfer window, but the two most disappointing are Perez and currently Vestergaard, both of whom are established PL players.
