Fair enough. I’m a supporter. You’re not. You’re an entitled customer. That explains our different attitude to booing, I suppose.

You don’t know anything about me so you can’t really make that judgement can you.

Well I know that you said this:

I could agree with this years ago, you’re there to “support”, but that isn’t how things are anymore. People pay a lot of their money to go and be entertained.

and on the basis of that my assessment of you was perfectly justified. I assumed you included yourself in what you said - if  you didn’t, and you don’t boo, then fair enough, you are a supporter and not an entitled customer and I withdraw that part of my comment.

I still don’t think that booing your own team is justifiable, and I’m not sure it’s actually possible for a real fan to do it.

The booing was clearly aimed at the decision to take Lookman off.

Perfectly reasonable to express disapproval.

I cringed though at the very audible 'you don't know what your doing' singing from behind the goal at that time.

I get this. But I also don’t get it.

They don’t give a duck about you yet without you they’re nothing.

IF someone is shit, I don’t see why you shouldn’t let them know.

Yeah, I know what you mean, my 5 year old daughter showed me a drawing the did earlier today, it was shit so I told her so

They've just been discussing this on Talksport lol

The only definitive anti-Rodgers, anti-performance complaint was towards the Lookman substitution which, to anyone watching the game and not knowing his fitness levels, seemed a very odd move. The officials and Burnley copped most of the flak at the end of the game.

This is the problem when you've got people discussing something they've heard a short clip of, not knowing the context and the overall picture.

Best stick to FoxesTalk, where nobody ever spouts off on subjects they don’t actually know anything about…

Whatever…. Our decent into the lower section of the league will not be welcomed and may elicit a stronger response than that substitution.

Kermo was decent.

Descent was a PC game. Probably showing my age there.

I’m guessing you don’t mean a ‘let’s get behind the lads’ response?

So there are still some who don't think Maddison was booed?

I'm not sure tbh.

I think Burnleys time wasting, a crowd hoping/expecting a win, pre match and our most creative player on the day being subbed, made them react like that.

That's how I saw it.

And I didn't boo either😄👍

Whilst I understand the sentiment, they're sportsmen, being told they're shit or can't do something should spur them on, give them ammunition to prove people wrong, i'm not saying it's right or that people should be doing it but I would like to think their mindset is stronger and they have that mentality, I doubt they really give a ****.

Like when the opposition slag Vardy off, he thrives of it because he wants to prove them wrong, get one back at them.

....you would have thought getting to where they are at the moment would take a strong mindset!!!

The problem with a train of thought that all players are hardened and can thrive off adversity is that it is totally wrong, and you can see that with Nacho and what he went through. Some need the arm around the shoulder and the reason why man management is a factor, knowing who and how to cajole to produce performances that meets the individuals talents.

This reminds me of (sorry to WC drop) when I went to the world cup in Brazil.

Honduras vs Switzerland, Shaquiri scored a hattrick... the Hondurus fans were taking off their (brand new) Honduras shirts and throwing them at their bench.

The mostly Brazilian crowds chanting "support your team"

People on Foxes talk chatting like thier Hondourians.

I'm going to think about that one. Part of me agrees, and part of me sees disappointment as part of the fan territory, witj booing being a vocalisation of that emotion.

If I was Top I think I'd be very offended and upset by the booing the other day after everything he and his family have given us, we can't even have 6 mediocre games.

Jesus christ lad, get a grip.

If you're getting offended about a heat of the moment thing that has nothing to do with you, then I'd say you need to toughed up a bit. I'd imagine Top has thicker skin than that considering what he's achieved and dealt with in his life so far.

I'm fine. Toughed up a bit? You know nothing about me.

I just think it's embarrassing for those who took part in the booing and I would be pissed off if I was Top hearing that.

I know you're still upset about a spur of the moment action, 4 days after it happened and then projecting that on to Top for some reason lol

I do agree it's embarassing though, mainly the act of booing in general though. Outside of pantomime I find it an incredibly off thing for grown ups to do.

Don’t matter how many threads or people saying it’s embarrassing it’s not gonna stop unless we pick up and start winning. I’ve said it many times but foxestalk doesn’t represent a majority of match day fans. Foxestalk was pro puel when homes and away crowds wanted him out nearly a year before he went.
