Just popped into greggs, didn’t have any sausage rolls left so I let their staff have it. Started boo’ing and jeering the ****ers, they’re so terrible at their job. I pay my £1 a day on sausage rolls though so I’m entitled to treat them how I like !

Is booing the only option?

You don't know why a substitution is being made. Whether it's tactical, an injury, recognising the player is tiring.... any number of things. Thing is, you don't know why yet you choose to suggest you know more than the manager does? Sure, Lookman was playing well but there are a raft of reasons why BT wanted might have wanted to change things around.

BT. Can't trust them. Switch to Virgin Media.

I booed Looman coming off.

I also booed Maddison because he's been sh*t.

I pay enough money and I can freely express my opinion. Cheers.

Harry - I’ve missed you!

try not to be so angry about stuff …….. expressing your opinion in that way is maybe what you feel you need to do but what if that impacts negatively  on others ?  Is that fair ?

Look on the bright side, if we really did get relegated some of the plastic entitled cvnts might not come back.

There'll be fewer, but they've always been here. Means I'd get my ST back again though, so I live in hope.

There was blatant booing when Maddison took to the field that was obviously distinct and separate from the booing at the decision to take Lookman off. Horrible to hear:

Hand on heart didn’t think there was any booing of Maddison near me. In fact I was shocked because if was 100% expecting it from the idiots.

We had fans lambast Richie Wellens in the Championship, and there were loads of Pearson Out folks in 12/13 and during 14/15.

Playing at this level comes with a price.

You're playing in front of 30 thousand fans week in week out.

You lot saying how we shouldn't treat players like that doing their job is the biggest load of nonsense I've ever heard.

If you have ever

 - Joined in saying 'you don't know what you're doing' / the referee is a wancer to the referee then you're out of order.

- Ever sang a song about another teams player, for example 'Leicester reject' at Harry Kane.

They're just doing their jobs so why slag them off?

The point people are making is that you shouldn’t boo your own team.

Because they're not on OUR team?

I've never boo'ed anything at a football math, even the opposition or ref. Just seems a really immature thing to do as an adult.

The only time I ever boo is at a pantomime where it's ok to do in a slapstick way!

Oh no it isn't

Have you ever joined in with chants at the referee for a poor decision?

Maybe if we're not happy with the managers substitutions, instead of booing, we should be a bit more creative and do something totally unique to Leicester.

My suggestion would be to all do a Boycie style laugh 👍😄

Yes, I’ve also jeered opposition players and managers, not sure if you’d realised but they’re not part of my team.

The reason I don’t boo Maddison is mainly because it is counter-productive for my teams performances and also because it only leads to a toxic, unenjoyable environment. Does that clarify things a bit?

It was more about your point that you don't boo greggs staff for doing their job.

But okay.

Their is an identity crisis currently. Slow possession based football with limited end product has slipped in. Yesterday gave us a glimpse of having 2 effective wide outlets which most would agree is long overdue. Contrast that with a defence now that looks shaky at best, conceding roughly 2 goals a game on average. So we start to correct one aspect as we suffer another.

We look incredibly easy to get at and susceptible to set pieces and ball over top. Seen a few saying we need to leave Wilf deep and protect. How does he stop an incoming set piece or 60 yard ball over the top?

We need to keep attacking outlets wide now and if we can get Nacho involved more often. Defensively it is what it is, this is where the coaching team need to earn their corn.

To clarify, you have also previously stated on this forum that you are living in "a totalitarian state", yes?

I believe you have the wrong thread. This is a place to discuss Leicester City, the football team. Leave me alone.

This one seems to be a perfect storm of Lookman playing well, Maddison not being in form - and the fans being concerned about Rodgers decisions, I think otherwise say if he’d taken off Barnes for Madders I doubt the response would have been half as bad as he wasn’t having his best game.

We need to be slightly careful what we wish for here as well, Rodgers isn’t perfect as a manager, (but jeez there are some other managers out there in bigger clubs who are utter dross - Solskjaer and Arteta come to mind) but he will keep us ticking over as being a competitive side. Things like this wouldn’t help say if Arteta gets the sack and the Arsenal job becomes available 👀

Truth is Maddison hasn’t been his best, we know that - but eventually and probably sooner rather than later he will get back there. Ironically this is what Rodgers did last time when he was poor, dropped him and started integrating him from the bench again until he was back to his best and able to justify starting.

Hopefully now Rodgers will realise he made a bit of an error in how we’ve started this season, (he has done this before and has fixed it) Vards has ended up carrying us to what we’ve got so far at 34. There was no reason to recess back from playing Vards and Nacho up front like last season off the bat - especially when defensively we’ve got issues 🤷‍♂️
