I think the 3 in midfield doesn’t work with a DM personally.

I think the formation needs 3 box to box types to really make it work against weaker sides. It may be more risky but the idea of having the extra body gives you a bit more steel to begin with.

kdh for ndidi would have made for an exciting line up.

.....you would think we would not be playing with a midfield three against weaker teams!!!

We have to be selective in the games where we employ a three, and we have got to select the right games to play this formation. Playing in that way Ndidi would be deeper of the three with a box-to-box (Soumare) and the creativity of Tielemans should work perfectly against the big teams, barring Man. City.

This is written by a Polish driver. Doesn't look very promising as far as their return is concerned.

Of course, this was a gesture to make it seem like they are doing something, as much anything. None of the industry types think 5000 is anywhere near enough, even if they could be bothered come for 3 months work.

I follow a ex-freight forwarder (on Twitter), who has retired and moved to Cyprus, 30 years experience etc. Saw what was coming down the line from 2016. Carries news from the front line and analysis. Here is one tweet I have copied off his thread today.

My Dad was approached by driving agency a couple of weeks back and asked if he would consider returning back to work as an HGV driver. When he explained that he was nearly 90 and no longer had a license, the caller said no problem,we can use him to shunt trailers around the yard.

Here is another cracker...

My brother in law is a lorry driver and delivers fuel. He’s on the road now and there are people following him - literally tracking his every turn - in cars. He says it’s like end of days. 2021 y’all.

How are the shelves where you are? I expect there are queues for petrol and empty shelves right across the EU... :crylaugh:

Good source though, you can feel the pain in that article. There are so many reasons not to do that job, beyond the obvious.

It's just that I read Legia are the army club, and thought that loads of them must have HGV licences.

I imagine it would be the same line up as against Napoli, with Choudhury in for Ndidi - depending on Evans fitness.
Win this and even at this early stage we will be pretty confident of a top two finish.

I think it will work in our favour having the away games in Warsaw and Moscow early in the group stage, before the winter weather sets in over there.

Fingers crossed 🤞

I imagine we'll field a strong line-up even though these are struggling sonfar this season. It'll be an intimidating atmosphere so some calm and experienced heads may be needed.

Saying that, I'd like to see a few U21s on the bench in case we are cruising, see what they can do in the first team, Maswanhise and Suengchitthawon especially.

Daka to start please.

Absolutely have to have Evans back in defense to calm things down and get some control and consistency back.

The rest will follow. Ndidi mopping things up in front of the back 3 for me and Youre to have a decent game is key with his incisive passing.

We need Nachos goals so playing him behind Daka up top. (If Vardy does start by any chance he has to be subbed before he gets hurt and

Nacho comes in). Barnes and Lookman to run the Polish ragged from the wings. Timmy is needed too for his graft. Our southampton rejects

hopefully have had a good kick up the backside since the weekend. They have to do much better if they want to be in this squad, can't let their

levels drop even for one game! Finally Kasper needs to get back on track which he will. I could see the disappointment in himself last week at

his performance it was not good. He's a stand up guy and will put things right - true leadership.

If only he didn't get himself sent off against Napoli.
