I transferred out Ronaldo for Vardy in Fantasy League, then captained him. I just had a feeling!

 

Fvcking delighted to see us play like that. Some of the stuff in the first half, playing through their 'World Class' midfield was an absolute joy.

 

Demonstrates how important Jonny Evans is. Cags was a different play and Big Dan looked comfortable. 

 

Youri running the game, Madders looking more influential. 

 

Ricardo looking like the beast we know he is and Brendan open to making changes to play Iheanacho.

 

Right, I'm off to get absolutely hammered and revel in the glory of beating these

Well done Brendan - I wasn’t a fan of that first 11 but you smashed it. Every player was a 7/10. Tilemans was unplayable. Maddison almost back to his best. Absolutely buzzing.

Can't beleive the difference Evans makes to the defence. Big Dan and Cags were great today. not too much faffing about across the back 3 and forward passes.

Helps when the midfield will drop in to recieve the ball to link the play.

And strikers being absolute pests all afternoon.

Lastly some good substitutions that absolutely made a difference.

Don’t underestimate Ricardo’s influence. A lot of attacking plays came from his side. He also needs to start whenever he is fit. And btw, can we please sign him up for another 4 years?

 

Finally, with Evans back, Soyuncu looks a lot better again all of a sudden. Evans - please stay healthy. He is so important to us.

 

 

If Ricardo and Castagne are healthy Thomas or Bertrand should never start an important game, plain and simple, apart from squad rotation.  Ricardo needs to be out there on the right whenever he's available.

Unbelievably good. Praying this kickstarts our season now. No coincidence this performance was so convincing with Evans and Nacho back in the side. Hoping Evans going off was just a precaution.

Very good win against a massively overrated bunch of primadonnas.

 

Nacho and Daka very good. How good was Soy with Evans by his side. Its crazy what a difference he makes being on the field.

 

We were looking very leggy in the 60th minute when Rashford came on. Thought we should have injected some pace at that point but really can't complain too much after a result like that.
