Talking to old Uni mates the year we were last promoted to the prem I was making the case that Matty James was good enough to force his way into the England side within a few years, suspect I also did the same hype man job for Liam Moore at some point.

I was utterly convinced that Kelechi was out of his depth and needed moving on for his sake and ours. Now I’ll never write a player off again :giggle:

Todays was “Kasper, that’s not worked all game” as he launched it to Iheanacho  5 seconds before our winner.

I turned to my missus and said "we need to chill out a bit" after Kasper once again "panic thumped" (my thoughts) the ball forward at exactly the moment you mention.

Glad it’s wasn’t just me. I constantly get ripped for shouts like this but yesterday’s was a PB… 10 seconds from slagging something specific off to it directly creating a goal.

Another favourite of mine was when after 30 minutes of a friendly at Lincoln I said Fuchs wasn’t an upgrade on Paul Konchesky.

I was convinced Fousseni Diabate was going to be the next Mahrez for us after that Peterborough game.

Thanks for coming Mr Lineker.

My brother: "Can't believe we're buying Matt Mills for £5 million, the guy is shite."

Me: "Errr...I think Sven knows a good player when he sees one, you dumbass. This guy will captain us in the Premier League. You mark my words."

“I do”, will probably remain my worst call 🤷😂. But I suspect you meant LCFC related! In which case, I’d totally given up on JJ after the first ‘restart’ as we crumbled. 😂😂

Raving about the likes of Mark De Vries (good debit mind) and Elvis Hammond to begin with. Also thought Jason Jarret looked good.

We signed him on the Friday and on the Saturday I got my dad to drive me to the club shop and got a shirt with his name on the back. I was 15 and I genuinely thought he was going to absolutely tear it up. He was the answer, and he only cost £50k!

In fact, any cheap signing from Scotland at that time I was VERY excited for. Hughes, Maybury, Sylla, Douglas. We were building a brilliant team in my naïve head and all for peanuts.

To be fair to Matty, he might have been closer if not for is injuries bless him.

How about Jeff Schlupps hatrick on his debut. I told my Dad we got some player here! Was so excited. You know the rest.

He did go on to win more Premier League titles than Steven Gerrard, Harry Kane, Les Ferdinand, Gareth Bale and Marcel Desailly combined.

I thought Craig Levein was going to be the man to propel us to the heights.

Glad it wasn't just me. Mind I follow Hearts so I was biased!

Martin O'Neill's ringing endorsement didn't calm us down either!!

At Rotherham? I was at that game! We were all laughing at the name Jeff which seems very strange now.

 Golden oldies.

Martin Henderson.  A complete donkey.  Scored the winner against a rampant Liverpool following an awful start to the season.

There's no way we can win this now (as Steve Lynex takes the goalkeeper gloves).

In August 2015 , after the first game of the season, when not all teams had played a game, I posted a picture of Leicester at the top of the table while I could knowing it wouldn't last.
