Good win and we looked good going forward. We need to sort the defence out though. If we defend like that in our next couple of games we're gonna have some problems.

It was an entertaining watch and a wins a win.  But with our defence it does seem like we have to bag 3 or 4 to feel like we will win.

I think we just need to keep going, and see what changes when James and fofana are back for the second half of the season.

Leafblower 3/10

Broom 4/10

Shovel 7/10

Undersoil heating started off pretty slowly, and had a bit of a mare at the start of the second half. But to be fair, by the end of the game was on a hot streak.

Quite happy with that performance. Other than the penalty and a couple of close crosses, and a Castagne mistake they didn't really threaten much.

Was quite happy with our forward play and attacks. Looked to get in behind and move the ball forward and behind their back line frequently. Vardy running the channels like of old and actually finishing some chances which is refreshing.

Maddison seems to be coming into form too which is also encouraging. Took his goal well and Vardy's header was decent. Looks like they've been working on that kind of move? Amartey's goal vs Spartak is similar (with a near post flick on).

Thought Soyuncu had a belter of a game. Aerially dominant again. That thunderbolt from Ndidi looked very painful straight to the face! Ouch.

Overall satisfied, and glad we could give Ranieri a great reception but also take 3 points.

2 wins a row, need to build some momentum now into a tough period of fixtures. Squad rotation will probably be key...

Kudos to the guy with the shovel in front of the Kop playing up to the crowd as well lol

Nothing wrong with a light bit of fun.

Didn't enjoy the walk back home or the drive. Terrible conditions. Hope everyone else got home safely :)

I thought Maddison was MOTM because his quick thinking is what made the difference more than once today.

Vardy was a close second. The way he took his first Goal was vintage Vardy.

Still to many errors but overall we deserved to win the game.

Good to see Maddison coming through a sticky patch and starting to show what he can do again. He’s been crucial whilst Youri is absent and hopefully carries on once Youri returns. Much better forward play. Still shaky defensively at times but after the Chelsea game we’ve come back well. Good opportunity to add to these wins on Wednesday but we will have to ensure we are switched on from the start

Very satisfying result. Much better performance all 'round - attack and defence were pretty good, especially considering the conditions. Wilf was a bit silly to giveaway the penalty and Castagne got tripped for their goal. Could have conceded more but we kept fighting. That attitude and endeavour, for me, is key to our success.

Also, lots of forward balls and attempts to play vertically again. Very pleasing indeed. It's a good (re)start!

Agreed. Our defence did pretty well today, considering the conditions. Castagne wasn't at his best defensively, but still decent (he was fouled for that goal, no matter what they say). Evans was imperious at times. Cags was much more confident and reliable. Thomas was excellent, and again links really well with Barnes down the left.

Wilf looks very off-form at the moment, and neither he nor Soumaré seemed to be shielding the CBs. Odd. Get that right and I think we'd be far more solid. Even good defences creak when they're under constant pressure!
