Can’t say there’s been anything in this performance to encourage me. The whole match has been played at walking pace.

Well that's good because I used both. So I was correct 50% of the time.  

 

And yes. Ridiculous.  I haven't seen yesterday's penalties, so I can't comment.  But based on what I saw today and it being stated that "the defender invited contact" it's ridiculous. 

 

If a Newcastle player that taken that contact in the box we would be up in arms. 

 

Granted the rules/laws (please choose accordingly, you seem passionate about which is correct) are wrong. They invite players to win penalties that way.
