What are people going to Moan about today?

Here's my prediction for todays moan: Maddison should never of been dropped by Rodgers in the first place.

Hopefully that puts us back on track, solid performance.. Youri, Maddison, Barnes, KDH all playing well along with the rest of the team.. the midfield won that.

More of the same please. Madders MOTM

A clean sheet!!!

Some nice goals thrown in there too. The penalty was very generous but we still would've beaten them comfortably imo. Still don't think our general play was amazing but can't complain  overall.

Tielemans and Maddison very good today

Couple of things.

We look better with Ndidi as a centre back.

Daka was immense.  I hate to say it, but Vardy should now be an impact sub for me.

Decent performance

I was with you until the Vardy part…lol

Actually, on second thoughts, nothing against Wilf today but can’t wait to see Amartey back.

Flattering scoreline as we weren't that good. But well deserved victory with a workmanlike performance and some key moments of class. And a clean sheet. 😁

Daka, Youri, Maddison and Thomas excellent. Great effort by KDH too.

8th and 22 pts. Think that stops us being dragged into a relegation scrap.

Newcastle are gash though. They will gave to spend big. Vestergaard is available with Bertrand thrown in.

Their problems are worse actually. Its always difficult to buy well in January, but

1) who is going there with a good chance of championship football next season?

2) other clubs see the Saudi pot of blood money so prices will soar..... Still want Hamza do we? £30m perhaps???

Great win. First clean sheet since the first game of the season with Evan subbed very very early is huge and I hope it rallies the players. NUFC aren't the best team in the world and I'm betting a lot of LCFC fans will use that to dismiss this and continue to dunk on BR and the team but I don't care. Any turn around has to start somewhere, this is as good a place as any. Spurs will be a tougher challenge.

Genuinely buzzing we got a clean sheet, more than the 4 goals if I'm honest lol.

That's a bit harsh.  That's the first game this season where we've not had a huge chunk of the game where we've been beyond shit.

We were good today for a change.

Yes, there is still a lot to work on but to a man today they did a decent job.  Plus, there wasn't much passing around at the back, our play was a bit more direct.

Let's not get too carried away. Am very pleased but Newcastle were dreadful.

Madison been our best player in most games for the last month

When Maddison and Tielemans are on song (plus Vardy scoring), we can be something special…:scarf:

The highest scoring striker in the league? Come on.

Daka does look great though and finally the man to replace him when the time comes. Just not yet.

Way to pull a negative out of a positive… :appl:

...it was a good observation, just because when we win, does not mean issues are not being addressed!!!

Good to pick up the points but going forward it is a good observation which needs to be looked at. He (Ndiddi) has been far too involved in our forward play, it should not be happening.

Have to say I really want them to go down. The fact we won today is great, the fact we beat a team owned by a despicable regime who flaunt every human rights decency you can imagine   makes it even more satisfying. I'd like to think that every other Premier League team would refuse as a point of principle to sell any player to them ever for anything less than 30 million but preferably not at all as then they would be accepting blood money.

No more than Legia…

We’ve lost to “dreadful” opponents this season. Just enjoy this. One game at a time!

3 players. Youri, Madders and Patson.

Cameos to KDH......and Wilf is a CB for me, that's where he needs to play.

However.....

What is it with Soumare, does he run at all?

Wilf is not a CB .. he looked dodgy .. need Amartey in there if  Evans is bust
