It's because Spurs had fixtures postponed that they've not postponed ours. Totally unjustified!

Assumed this was the case, the previous postponements meant unless we were shut it was going to be going

Too nice from the club, got to be forcing the issue here if we're really that paper thin. Like others have said close the training ground and send everyone home.

Going to be pretty awful this, just hope it doesn't stunt Nelson's development too much if he comes in and we ship a hat full.

If memory serves me well enough, one of Ben Chilwell's first Leicester games was a 6-1 hammering against Spurs on a Thursday.

So, is this one going ahead then?

The Tottenham squad have booked a hotel in town for tomorrow, so unless anything changes at 5PM tonight, the game is going ahead

Absolutely shambolic. Both clubs should threaten to take the PL to court. The inconsistent nature of their decision making gives them no leg to stand on.

Just fake a few positive tests

Key point for me was “we have enough for players to start, youth will get a chance off the bench”

So it’ll be N’didi and a wing back at CB or as others have speculated a back three with Wilf, Bertrand and Castagne.

Didn't he score that game?!

How’s this for a dream team.

Referee: Craig “big 6” Pawson

FO: Jon Moss

VAR: Lee Mason.

We really are in for a long night.

both clubs wanted it off:

Brendan Rodgers says Leicester City enquired to the Premier League about having the game against Spurs postponed. They have 9 players out as a result of COVID-19 and illness. "We've always wanted to support the measures, and we wanted a bit of support given the circumstances."

it seems the PL are worried when Spurs will play the games in hand so wouldn't let us call it off

Apparently the motivation for Spurs wanting to postpone the game was so they could play their Europa Conference game against Rennes on that night.

No wonder the Premier League said no but I can't help but feel like it's put up in the shit.

If its more 'related' to covid rather than actual covid cases then we obviously don't have a leg to stand on regarding requesting postponements.

The PL need to say how many positive cases in a squad causes a postponement to avoid accusations of bias. Its needs to be the same for everyone. Is it different if you are away from home like Man Utd and Spurs were?

Depends then if the Prem give support if players don't have vaccinations and need to isolate.

How many cases did Utd have for them to warrant a postponement?

There's genuinely people who'll try and convince you there isn't a bias in this league. They don't even hide it anymore.

Seems crazy this is going ahead, how many have Spurs got missing?

I think we will see this:

                         Kasper

          Castagne Ndidi Bertrand

Ricardo   Soumare  Youri   Thomas

                      Maddison

                 Vardy     Daka

Harsh on KDH but can see Brendan thinking Soumare protects the back 3 more.

Don't see Ricardo lasting over an hour either.

All in all - who knows what to expect.

I reckon decision will be taken this weekend to postpone league cup QF's, move the final to April again like last year and buy some time to play the QF's and SF's in the New Year.
