Can you imagine next season when we start singing Conference Champions you'll never sing that to everyone we meet.  Oh the joys!

They wouldn’t be louder than the 8k there in May

They had a brilliant day. Why wouldn't we want four times as many to have potentially another great day?

So many of our fans have missed out so much in the past 18 months, getting as many as possible to an FA Cup Final would be superb.

Conference league > winning the league or FA cup. Winning a European trophy would be amazing.

Even more amazingly, we’re favourites lol

FA Cup was great for the history books but in terms of the immediate future of the club, I'd much rather the Europa Conference league with the access to the Europa League next season.

What? Am I missing something as to why this post has so many likes. All 3 give you qualification to the Europa League as far as I always knew.

I'd be happy with any trophy but I'd 100% take the FA Cup again from those 3. Winning back to back FA Cups will be remembered a lot more than winning League Cup or the new Intertoto Cup.

I'm surprised people are even debating this tbh. It has to be the FA Cup. What's the benefit of winning the other 2 over the FA Cup? People remember FA Cup winning teams.

I always have a hierachy at the start of each season:

Premier League/Champions League if we're in it

FA Cup

Europa League if we're in it

League Cup

Conference League if we're in it

That's just my hierarchy, but appreciate the Europa/Conference Leagues might mean more to others.

But, really, as a LCFC supporter for 36 years - trophies are bloody rare!! Let's just be grateful and humble when we're lucky enough to win something and not deride the competitions. There are many clubs in the lower leagues (or even lower PL) who'd love to be us (still competing for the League Cup and in the Conference league).

Perhaps a more interesting question is which double would you prefer:

A - FA cup and League cup

B - FA cup and Europa Conference

I can see the argument for B, a European trophy, all the winning trips that it would involve between now and then, it would be awesome but.... A would be massive, including the Community Shield that'd be the last 4 Wembley finals we'd have won, the new owners of Wembley! I think i'd prefer that.

Always nice to dream on all accounts of course.

Yeh i think what you're maybe missing, and what the original poster meant, is that there's literally no money involved in the fa cup. I think the winners get less than £2m. Even the dominos cup winners get >£10m i believe. Plus the attraction of telling players you are a European winning team capable of competing at that level, not just another domestic trophy winner. I cant imagine foreign players under the age of 22 care about what the fa cup means.

FA Cup is very romantic i get all of that but for long term progression i agree with the original post.

as of this season the league cup only gets you into the Conference League for the next season

FA Cup again or the League Cup and Europa Vauxhall Conference double?

I fancy the tin pot double to compliment are hideous fan base (me especially)

I'd rather the tin pot double -- as long as we were in Europa league. Say it with me: "Leicester City won a Treble this season." I mean, it would be a weaker treble than even Liverpool's in 2001, but they still bang on about it.

Tin Pot double, so I can amuse myself by checking Harry Kane's wikipedia page to see Major Honours: 0, then going on to Dan Amartey's to see that he has won all the major English trophies and the very first of a European competition that Spurs manage to bottle their way out of by not actually showing up to lose a game.
