You're putting the Bertrand penalty miss in there when we have Vardy not wanting to take 1, other than that he didn't do much wrong today, out of position coming into a hostile game against an in-form Jota

Their 3rd came from an Ndidi missed header and the 2nd was down our right side too. Vestergaard did nothing wrong and made some decent blocks.

But keep the pitchforks out

Yup Vestergaard did quite well, battled. Well need him now he's seemingly our entire defence so let's hope he keeps strong.

Sorry I know Bertrand stood up to take a pen but it was shight, neither tucked in a corner or hit with power, savable height. Useless. He's an accomplished pro but every performance he has a 'moment'. Really is making it difficult for himself.

I thought Vestergaard probably had his best performance for us when he came on. Also allegedly has only had 1 days training too before the game so fair play to him tonight.

I still would have neither of them near our team

Vardy didn't take one due to injury, according to Brendan's post match interview.

i was rolling my eyes when i saw vestergaard getting ready but what choice did we have? besides, he did alright today ,got some tackles in and did his job. these 2 are not to blame for the defeat. negative tactics are

All going well then on come the old Southampton players, 2 goals get conceded and then comes the penalty miss from Bertrand

I think Liverpool made some subs too and their strength in depth became apparent.

Vardy had a groin injury

Watch Vestergaard on that second Liverpool goal. Then look back at the goals we have conceded when he has played. Made some good blocks, yes, but his lack of mobility makes him easy pickings against any semi competent premier league side

Once a narrative gets bedded in it is very hard to shift, and this is very thin gruel.

I'm sure there will be more/other performances we can slag them off for, but trying to use that game to do it weakens any claim to objectivity.
