Yes would love to see us show no intention of winning or trying to play possession and keep it safe.

All I hope is that we can all get behind the lads, whatever mistakes they make, whatever substitutions BR makes that we don’t agree with, they need our full support.

 

Our job is to make the atmosphere as hostile as we can, we got to Maguire big time and we can do the same to this lot.  We need to put pressure on the officials too every time Liverpool foul, particularly the cynical break up play type that they are so good at.

 

If one or two of them end up in a crumpled heap or better still in the stands then so be it.

Season ticket holder so yes, haven’t missed a home game in ages.  I agree though that the atmosphere apart from Man Utd and a couple of the European games has been poor.  I know that sometimes we are responding to what we see on the pitch but it cuts both ways and booing our own players when the team is read out is embarrassing.

 

 I just don’t want to hear us barracking our own players, all that does it makes them likely to make more mistakes (see Chillwell) and gives the opposition a lift.

Some very strange comments from their end at the moment. Firstly the surprise at us picking our strongest available side for the cup match. What else were we likely to do for a cup q/f in a season in which we are likely to finish mid table? Then comments that we went much weaker against Man City when most of the changes were actually forced on us. Also comments about Rodgers taking us backwards and not being able to sort a defence out. Yes we have had major defensive problems this year but we have had dreadful injuries all season and currently have 8 defenders unavailable, players returning from covid who can’t be 100% and the issue of the training ground closing.

we’re going to injure mane, we’re going to injure salah.. we will get 2 red cards. Worth it. 
 

both will pull out of the afcon, will miss 1 game and  miraculously recover to play the rest of the season.
