Claudio Fannieri Posted 27 December 2021 Posted 27 December 2021 KDH is pretty fresh and I would suggest he is one of if not the fittest in our squad, he has to play tomorrow as his energy and tempo will be critical if we have any chance of getting on top of Liverpool. If Youri and Madders play we have to some protection for them, either play a back 3 or we need to have a defensive midfielder in the side. Just going to be another pasting, but Liverpool tend to take their foot off the gas, so I can see a 0-4 or something like that. Klopp might even rest some of the better players, having thrown away a 3-1 lead against their kids he has hardly got anything to fear.

They haven’t played since the cup game so no need to rest anyone I think the way we played second half yesterday will mean he goes 5 at the back, I just hope Ndidi plays cb and soumare is in midfield with youri and kdh, give Maddison a free role off vardy up top. Didn’t watch the game but apparently lookman did well so maybe harsh on him not starting.

The reserve attack scored three goals. Daka and Vardy weren't fit enough to play (and probably won't on Tuesday). Castagne and Ndidi the only ones likely to come back who'll make a difference in quality. It's not an anti-Liverpool conspiracy. You're not that important.

We would have had two days to prepare for this one whereas Liverpool have had 10 due to Covid issues for their opponents so they’ve still been able to train. Doesn’t seem fair at all. 4
