I cannot see us playing a strong side with 3 massive league games afterwards .

Not that we are particularly strong anyway !!

Really hoping Dennis gets given a rest, don't like the idea of him up against the kind of defence we are going to have to put out haha

I seem to recall similar comments being made prior to the Liverpool game - that didn’t turn out too bad. I know what you mean though

It would be in both sides interest for Leicester to win then! Watford can focus on their big games in the league and we can hopefully go on a decent cup run to salvage something from the season.

Didn’t pay much attention to them so can only speak to the stats but they had the 2nd worst PL defence last season, and were the worst in terms of GA v xGA. Bertrand made 29 appearances and Jannik 30.

Southampton had a poor defence but stayed in the league pretty comfortably in the end. They also got battered 9-0 by Man United after fielding an injury ravaged team that had a man sent off after 5 minutes that didn't help them.

So whilst neither player should be a first team choice, on paper they should be OK stand-ins, IE on the Amartey level of performing decently when called upon.

As it stands they are nowhere close to Amartey's performances this season and both have been big disappointments. If they get given game time I hope they can up their levels, as no one here wants any Leicester City player to fail!

Ward

Castagne

Vestergaard

Nelson

Bertrand

Hamza

Soumare

Tielemans

Lookman

Perez

Barnes

That's not a bad team. Time for Vestergaard and Bertrand to step up and play well.

Also would annoy Nigeria even more if we didn’t play him!

I don't know. They haven't played in over a week, and for some of our available squad, even longer. You don't want them too rusty for Everton.

There are 5 substitutes in the FA Cup this year, so half the outfield can be swapped out if needed.

Brendan was too busy walking around Viccy park asking random lads if they fancy a game on Saturday

Is Teletext still a thing, can we get an appeal on there? It's worked before

Whilst they've been complete gash this season, they shouldn't be as bad as they have performed for us so far. Don't get me wrong I am not hailing them as the second coming, but both should on paper be capable of putting in Danny Simpson esque performances, IE solid and not letting anyone down. Southampton were an OK to decent team when they were there, so both should be capable of that level at minimum.

MAYBE giving them a run of games starting with an FA Cup game against a team that aren't prioritising the competition plus some other games where teams are heavily rotating their squads can help them discover some sort of form.

In case you can't tell I am literally trying to cling to any shred of hope left for both.

When life gives you straws... start clutching. :D For both of them to stink the place out is an awful hit rate. They were supposed to be (relatively) easy drop in solutions, PL experience and all that.

Maybe one day they will get up in the morning and be decent PL squad players again.:tumbleweed:

What do we think attendance will be? Still a lot of tickets unsold when I checked today. Bloody freezing as well

ABout 5,500 left. So that currently makes 23,500 plus away fans. Let's say they bring 1,500. 2,000 more to be sold by us today/tomorrow and we would be looking around 27,000 which isn't bad.

Print at home ticket, can you use it on your phone ?

It worked for my mate at the Legia game. However, I have heard it can be a bit of a faff and sometimes just doesn't work. To save the risk, try and get it printed.
