With the rearranged PL games coming up, I expect rodgers will want to get some of the kids on the pitch to see how they respond. we have five subs to use on Saturday.  Could he even throw braybrooke onto the bench ??  Definitely expect to see marcel, mcateer, nelson, VDC, k pennant and maswanhise on Saturday at some point.

Whilst they've been complete gash this season, they shouldn't be as bad as they have performed for us so far. Don't get me wrong I am not hailing them as the second coming, but both should on paper be capable of putting in Danny Simpson esque performances, IE solid and not letting anyone down. Southampton were an OK to decent team when they were there, so both should be capable of that level at minimum.

 

MAYBE giving them a run of games starting with an FA Cup game against a team that aren't prioritising the competition plus some other games where teams are heavily rotating their squads can help them discover some sort of form.
